Arrival Story:
The local shelter was giving adult cats away. I saw him when I first walked in. But wanted to look around a bit. Well I was looking a cat next to his cage when he reached out and tugged at my shirt. So I took him to the visiting room. I had just about decided he wasn't the cat for us. When he walks up and licks my leg three times. Something told me to take him home. He is a lover and doesn't mind being toted all over the place by my nine year old daughter. Shadow: Mom thinks I am just the tops, she spoils me (oh yeah!) and Sissy thinks I am a doll to dress up and carry around. But they both love me even when I've been a little brat.:) I think I picked a good family. They ONLY think they picked me.

Meowmy was preparing a turkey and I saw it...... Bear with me kit folks this is all still too painful. *Draws in a deep breath* And I ran away!!! Oh yes dear kitties I saw a turkey and ran away!!!! I'll never live it down! NEVER!!!! *Sobs* I am going to go wallow in my own shame. *Bella trots in* Oh Hey Shadow.....What's wrong Bubby? What? YOU RAN AWAY FROM A TURKEY? What are you,CRAZY?

Meowmy (the little traitor) brought some fish home. And not fur us to eat!!! Anyway the little attention-stealer's live in a glow-in-the-dark tank, so even at night I can stare at them hungerily. They say they have mickies,platies and some kind of leopard spotted ones. It is not fair fellow kitties, not fair I meow!!!Please cat-mail me if you have horror stories realating to this!!

I often hear meowmy talking to her human family and friends about kids today. Their lack of courtsy and manners. Once again my sissy has proven she is anything but typcial.
A few years ago she raised money for Tornado victims. Well she has done it again she helped raise money for a nearby town to get a new K-9 dog ( their only one passed away due to an illness}. Yesterday she received a phone call telling her that when training is done she can meet the new pup ( not to sure I like that idea).
So if I strut with my chest puffed out, tail and head held high just know my sissy is the reason why.
