Arrival Story:
My senior year of college, my roomates and I decided to get kittens. A friend knew someone whose cat had recently given birth, and so they brought us four kittens. I picked Sappho--the runt of the litter. She was so tiny and scared that she slept on my chest over my heart all night. She's been my best friend ever since!
Bio:
Sappho passed away peacefully in her sleep in July of 2008. She was healthy and happy until the end--catching mice, eating well, and purring away! We miss you, Sappho.
