I am still here

Just so you know mum,

To mum I'm sure somewhere on this ownerful site is this letter, but I found it and thought it would make you and others remember we are here and we are waiting for you.

Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

I can still see you and feel you mum

I wasn't going to start a diary, but my mom has had a rough day today, she is missing me terribly, she found the bells that used to hang on the bedroom and back door that I would ring when I wanted to be let out, and they made her miss me so bad.

So I thought I'd just pop in and say mum I know you miss me so much and that everytime you open your phone there is my picture, mum I'm thinking it might be time for you to take that picture off and put a picture of one of the other kitty's there.

I will always be with you no matter what, and I know you were missing me when you had to have your IV, that was always our time, and although you probably didn't actually feel it I did touch your face and give you a kiss on the nose like I always did when it was almost over.

I am here (at the bridge) with some really wonderful other kitty's so many of catster fame, that you have seen before, and friends of our kitty's, Nakita the dog is right here with me, and she says to tell you she is standing right next to you too.

One more thing mum, Whigger really does see me, when he stops when you are doing your chores, and starts meowing at something just a few steps ahead that is me, I'm waiting for all of you to catch up.
