I'd always heard that when you go to the pound sometimes pets adopt you, but I didn't believe it until I met Prufrock. All of the cats were causing a ruckus except for her-- she was in a cage with another cat and was sleeping. I went over to her, asked "Are you Prufrock?" and she opened her eyes and meowed.
