I suffered the annual indignation today of going to the vet. I hate everything about that place..... the noises, the smells, the things they do to me! YUCK!
I got weighed (oh, the embarassment - being told I really need to diet!), I had my temperature taken (and NOT in my mouth! OUCH!), I got prodded and squeezed all over, I got my teeth looked at (I really do NOT like people touching my mouth.... Not even Mommy gets to do that!) and then THEY STUCK ME WITH NEEDLES! TWICE!
They did say that I have done an excellent job keeping my abscess clean so no medicine or anything was needed for that. They also said I had a good strong heartbeat and that I would probably live to be 20. Wow.... that's REALLY OLD......
Then Mommy brought me home. I yelled all the way home in the car, just like I yelled all the way there. She gave me treats for being a good girl at the vet's.
At least that's over for another year......
