Arrival Story:
I went to the Humane Society on my birthday and was ready to pick out a cat that I had seen 2 days before. I noticed Bailey though (at the time, she was known as "Cinnamon"), scheduled a meet and greet in a private room and the rest was history. She came running up to me in the room and jumped right into my lap, purring away! The other cats I had met were more interested in seeing what lay within the corners of the room, and then finally, as a last resort, coming to meet me.
Bio:
Bailey has this crazy habit of literally bouncing off the walls (and couches) between 10 and 11PM every night... it's like someone lit a fire under her and the only way to put it out is to sprint from room to room. After a couple of rounds, she seems content and takes a nap.
One other funny habit of hers, is that she likes to stalk our feet, but only when we are not wearing socks (who could blame her really? I think feet are horribly ugly!)... she will actually pounce and latch onto your foot, though she doesn't use her claws! It's a very controlled stalking!
I am not sure of her exact birthdate - when I picked her up from the Humane Society in late September, they had her pegged at 4 months old. However, when I took her in for her first checkup about a week later, the vet told me that she could be anywhere from 5 to 6 months old (apparently, she had lost her "baby" teeth!)... so I guess that puts her around the beginning of May?!
