Finally feeling better!!

Hello all, I have not been feeling well, and mom has been beside herself worrying about me, and this is her busy time.

It started out with me not really wanting to eat *have you seen me I don't miss many meals* so mom knew something was really wrong, so she checked my teeth, they had a little tartar but nothing to terribly bad, so she gave me my own part of a can I licked all the juice off and left it alone for one of the other kit's to gobble up.

So mom took me the VET I love riding in the car and I love my VET, so that was actually treat, they weighed me and I had lost about 3 lbs which wasn't a big thing because I was really sort of oh alright I was fat.

He squeezed my tummy looked in my mouth listened to my innards, looked in my ears, I was a very good boy and everyone kept saying how laid back I was I just nodded. then a pretty nurse came and got me, and took me in the back she shaved my neck she kept saying she was sorry, but it didn't hurt, then she poked me in the neck, she again said she was sorry it didn't hurt either.

Then Mom left for awhile and chilled in the back with some other dogs and kitty's but hehehe the pretty nurse didn't latch my cage all the way and it was easy for me to rub on the door and it popped open so I wandered around and talked to the other animals there one doggie was very sad he got ran over by a car, so stayed by his cage, even when he was growling at me the nurse came in and saw me and said "oreo what are you doing out" I just stood there looking at the doggie, she picked me up and said "he is sad because he got hit by a car and we don't know who his mom and dad are, this made me very sad, and so I squirmed and surprised the nurse lady because she kinda dropped me let me go and I went and looked at the doggie real close and he was growling and then he touched my nose and I told him everything would be okay then he turned around and laid down with his head on his paws.

Then the lady grabbed me again and put me back in my cage I couldn't see the doggie anymore.

Then Mom came back and the nurse lady came and got me and said your momma is here Oreo, then she told mom what I did with the doggie, mom said that is Oreo he loves to kiss, here I"ll show you so she put me on the table and said Oreo give me a kiss and I did, then the nurse lady asked will he give me a kiss too, mom said sure just ask him, and I gave her a really good kiss, and she just said ooooohhhhhh Oreo you are a smoozer I giggled because that is what mom calls me.

The Nurse lady said that I have magic healing kisses because the doggie calmed right down.

Then My VET came back in said my blood work was PERFECT! That he though I just got an upset tummy, and he gave me a shot of roids and some antibiotics, I was better for about a week.

Then mom noticed I wasn't pooping I was but it wasn't poop it was clear mucus mom was very concerned so she called the vet and he said to bring a sample in.

She did and it didn't have anything bad in it, so this time they gave me oral roids and more antibiotics. And I'm feeling much better.

The Vet thinks I have developed what is similar in people like irratable bowel syndrom.

When mom called in when I got sick again she asked Deena how the doggie was she said they found his owner, and he is home healing up nicely, they do not have any idea how he got out, so see just like I told him it would be ok.

Mom is so relieved that I"m doing better and I've been going to work with her everyday so she can give me my meds, and just like MingMing I love going to work.

So that is what has been going on in Sunny, Snowy Central Oregon.

The cat food is being voluntarily recalled in the United States and ten additional countries. This recall is due to incorrect levels of zinc and potassium in our finished product resulting from a production error by a US-based premix supplier.

Yep Me Oreo

Mom said I could help her do laundry, so I was laying on the bed while she was folding the clothes and of course I would lay right on top of each one that she set down (dont you just love clean warm clothes?) so anyway I was laying there when all of a sudden I saw something out the window.

Mom figured it was just another kit out there, but then she saw the neighbors dogs wrestling in the snow, outside close to the other kitty's so she ran outside first with no pants on MOL, then she came back in a grabbed a pair and headed out to shoo the dogs away.

They have killed several kitty's in the neighborhood including three of our feral kits :(( so mom was on the warpath.

She went out there yelling at the dogs, and they kept charging at her and barking, she said you know Oreo I almost wish one would bite me so we could send them away.

The police force is so busy doing other things ,and we are so rural they really dont' have the time to come here and take care of those dogs.

So mom say's I"m her hero today, and she gave me some cottage cheese and a piece of salmon, I think I like this being a hero thing.

I am in heaven

Well not really because if I was MingMing would be here, no mom moved me from KC1 to KC2 and I love being in there I help take care of younger kits and me and Inigo and Shylo are best buddies, we run and play my favorite game, is to hide inside the hollow log and reach out and grab at the other kitty's MOL MOL.

I make mom laugh really hard because I sleep in the little kitty carrier, she leaves two of them in here, so we are comfortable getting in and out of them so they aren't scary when we have to go somewhere.

Well I get inside the little one, and I fill it up so much I can't turn around when I try to get out it starts rolling and Mom laughs and laughs.

She also says I'm the best kisser at the ranch, I have really wet kisses, i slime moms whole cheek when I give her a kiss.

My mom just loves my wet messy kisses, I am a big kitty, I weigh 20lbs now, but I am a full grown kitty, and mom says Oddie oh you aren't fat, you are just solid, well of course I'm solid what else would I be, if I wasn't solid I'd be well I'm not sure what I would be and don't really want to think about that.

So mom comes out to the kitty condo everynight to feed us our can and to get a wet messy kiss, and every night she says Oreo you are the best smoocher, mol mol, I like that title, maybe I should change my name to the smoocher mol.

Mom says this weekend she is building KC2( Kitty Condo 2) that is for the kitty's that are in the kitty room in the barn, mom says they are big enough now, to be outside like we are, our condo is very nice, we have a cat walk, we have a huge house with a heaty light in it, and warm cushy blankies in it, and we have a hug dish of food, and of course there are feathers, and mouses(fake ones) to play with, and there is a chair in there for mom to sit on when she comes in for cuddles, and that is my chair too.

I will help mom build the KC2, and make sure she gets lots of wet messy kisses, so she puts lots of love into the KC2 for the weeones.

Adventures

hehehehe mom let some of us out of the Kitty condo yesterday so we could play in the grass, and catch bugs, and chase the chickens.

Well, I decided I had enough playing and needed a warm snuggly place to take a cat nap so I climbed into mom's car, she didn't know I was in there (I love riding in the car) and got in and started to town when she looked in the review mirror and there I was Hahahahha.

She said OREO you scared the daylights out of me hahahhaha, so I climbed up front with her and snuggled next to her and we went to town, I had mom all to myself. we first went to the place mom buys our cans, (yummy) when she came out a little girl was so excited to see me in the car so mom got me out so she could pet me (she can't have pets the manager of her building says no pets that is terrible) so I let her pet me and snuggle up with me I even gave her an Oreo kiss, and she giggled and said my whiskers tickled her nose I tried to tell her that was how kitty's give kisses, but her mom said it was time to go.

Then we went to get mom medicine and it's a drive through and the lady thare tried to give me a dog treat, I took it politely, but I couldn't eat it it was to hard, but I told the lady thank you anyway.

Then we went and got gas and they tried to give me a dog treat too, what is up with that doesn't anyone have kitty treats or the very least some tuna, wow I'm going to have to educate these people and let them know that not everyone drives around with a dog.

So I had a good day yesterday then I got home and mom gave us all a two cans because she said she appreciates us so much.

It's my birthday

Mom said t was my birthday today so I got to go to work with her and Stryker I love riding in the car and when her boss leaves I get to come into the office and stroll around, (he doesn't mind) my favorite room is the conference room there is a huge big table and I can lay right in the middle of it I look so handsome there If I do say so myself hehehehe.

I also like to hide where my mom can't find me and jump out at her.

It's my birthday I'm so excited mom gets us each a new catnip toy and we get a whole can of tuna to ourselfs (yummmmmmyyy)

Finally they are off the computer so I can post

It's about time Annie and Furby get off the computer so I can post.

My name is Oreo I was mauled by a very bad dog and it broke my back leg and made my tummy bleed and he bit me around the neck too, but somehow I got up a tree and mom came and rescued me.

My leg and tummy are all better now I still limp a little but I can still climb trees and jump really high.

I take care of all the feral kittens I give them baths and play with them and curl up and nap with them I like the babies.

Furby is so funny he pretends to be sooo brave and bold, but he is such a pussycat sometimes, he was crying and crying when he got sprayed by the skunk, and when mom was washing him he looked so funy all wet.

this is the list of feral kittens and their personalities:

1. Minxy She is a manx, black and white tuxedo like me and she is very friendly she has a milk mustache and a very cooked tail.

2. Cheetah she is a tortoise and will be very big and lean, she is very sweet but a little shy

3. Scaredy Cat is just that a scaredy cat she is afraid of everything when mom caught her she was blind because her eyes were sealed shut because she had an infection in them, and mom doesn't know how long she was like htat before she found her, but she can see just fine now, the vet said she will be a good barn kitty she is striped like a tiger.

4. Scooby Doo is and orange tabby he is the runt, he is so funny and he tries so hard to be a big kitty, but he sure loves his food.

5. Eyeore is a grey tabby with a tuxedo and he has a crooked tail too but he loves people and kitty's and doggies he is very loving like me.

6. Bobbie Girl is a manx with hardly a tail at all, she is a I think what is called a muted toirtoise calico and hse is really funny she loves people too.

7. Monkey is a gril same color as Bobbie but with a long tail she is more shy but she loves to climband jump and play hence the name monkey.

I will fill you in on all the other kitty's here next time I can get my paws on the computer and I noticed mom needs to catch up with her picture taking.
