Shea

I'm sorry I haven't written in a while but I have worn myself out playing with Snakey! Mom says I will play the stuffing out of him, but I know that I can always get another now that Mom knows where to get him!

I just realized today that Shea has been with us almost a year. How could I let this happen? I know he distracts Griffin and that is good but still...I'm supposed to be the Princess, the baby. Shea even eats out of my Princess bowl sometimes...no wonder Mom's friend James calls him "Brokeback Shea". I just told Kiki about the uncoming anniversary and he is distraught. So many opportunities to eliminate Shea FOILED and some were downright disasterous. No fears though, we must just plan more carefully....

Snakey!

I got a snakey for my birthday!!! It's sandfilled like the last one but this one is PINK because I am a little girl. I have played with it for HOURS since Mommy first threw it on Friday. Snakeys are the best for playing fetch don't you know but sometime SHEA gets in the way. He runs after me when I run to get snakey...of course a few swipes to the nose takes care of him but still...ANNOYING! I think I will have to consult with Kiki about helping him with his plan again...

badadadadada Today is my Birthday!

I'm 5 today. Mommy and Aunt Cathy can hardly believe it...I'm still kitten sized:) I know I have a special treat coming in the mail. Aunt Cathy found something special on ebay for me. I sure hope it is another snake! I used to have a snake that I would fetch back to mommy but all of the sand fell out and it couldn't be thrown anymore:( I haven't had snakey for a couple of years even though I am sure mommy has looked. Oh and Griffin says he hopes we get catnip but I would rather just have some good wet food and a snakey!

My not so great adventure!

Well everyone, you may have heard that I had an adventure yesterday. You see, I managed to sneak out of the house. I was going to take Griffin or Shea far away and leave them (part of my master plan you know) but they didn't come out and when I turned around...the door was closed and I was OUTSIDE all alone in the dark! And no one knew I was outside!!! It wasn't so bad at first. I explored the back yard, sniffed the flowers and said hi to the bunnies and birds. But then it started getting light out and I heard dogs barking and then these really loud grass eating monsters started going so I pushed my way under the deck like I had seen the bunnies do. I heard Mommy come outside and yell for me so I meowed and tried to back out the way I came in but I was stuck!!! So I meowed and meowed but mommy didn't hear me because of all of the car noise and grass eating monster noise. And then I didn't hear mommy for the longest time and I was still STUCK. But a little while later, I heard Aunt Cathy calling for me so I meowed but I was still stuck! And she didn't hear me. I could hear her walking away, still calling for me and shaking treats (which I REALLY wanted) and I know she walked all over the neighborhood looking for me, but then I didn't hear her either. And then several hours later I heard Mommy and Aunt Cathy calling for me and calling but they still couldn't hear me. I heard them talking to people and showing my picture to all the houses in the neighborhood but no one had seen me because I was UNDER THE DECK. Hello?!?! So finally it started getting dark again and the grass eating monsters stopped their business and most of the cars went home. And I heard Mommy and Aunt Cathy on top of me! So I meowed but I was tired and hungry and hoarse and they weren't sure they heard me. But then I heard Aunt Cathy say, "you don't think she is trapped under the deck do you? What if she is hurt and can't come out." I wasn't hurt, I was just STUCK. I have girlish hips! But then I saw mommy's hair dangle down through the slats and heard her voice right on the wood and so I meowed as loudly as I could and they knew I was THERE!!! I heard the words crowbar and hammer and then horribly loud sounds as board were being torn up and then I saw porchlight and MOMMY!!!! And all of a sudden I was being hugged and petted and was safe in the house and Griffin and Shea were licking me and I rubbed up against them (to get the dirt off mind you). And then I got food and treats and to sleep with Mom again!!! I didn't even mind it when Shea and Griffin tried to cuddle with me. I don't think I will try to go outside again...

Kiki's plan

Ahh good friends, Kiki had a wonderful plan yesterday and it almost worked! Well sort of! His original plan was to eliminate the demon-spawn Shea by pushing the IRON on his head resulting in smooshed Shea. MOL. Oh the mental image sent me into fits of laughter! And it was SOOO purrfect. Our cover story was that we were trying to get the fast food behind the iron and the iron would accidentally fall and Shea would go SPLAT! Would that be IRONy?? MOL. Anyway Shea refused to play along and Kiki got upset and sulked off to his pillow. But I refused to give up! I knew the plan had merit! If we couldn't smoosh Shea, why not Griffin? Sure, he's not as annoying as Shea, but why waste a good plan? AND Griffin is always happy to help if food is involved. So I lured Griffin over to the dryer and explained that we were trying to get the food. I would push from the top and he could pull from the bottom. So he reached up with his paws, around the dryer, and started pulling at the bag and BAM!!! the dryer came tumbling down and...MISSED!? How could it miss?? Griffin is a big target. ARG. Missed Griffin, missed my chance! And then Kiki came running and SAW ME. Hopefully he will just think I was confused and won't figure out my plot to be only cat....
