I'm an odd bird

At least that's what my Mom says. She opened the windows again this year and it scares me so I hid under the bed. I came out at night though and more and more during the day yesterday. I don't remember why, I'm just scared of the open windows, even though there are screens.

I also turned off Mom's alarm clock again this morning. It plays music, and normally it is fine but I just did not like that song! I'm more of a hip hop kind of cat (Miss New Booty is my THEME song) but I can tolerate the country that Mom says eases her into waking...usually. This morning, though, I just couldn't take the country version of "Lips of an Angel." It just doesn't have the same edge soooo, I turned the alarm clock to beeping so Mom would turn it off. I still got petted and hugged. (I think she agreed with me about the song:))

Happy Birthday to ME!

It's my birthday today! The second one with my new family and now I know what that means...treats, and catnip, and toys, and wet food! I haven't been able top write for a long time because mommy has been so busy but we've all been doing well. So well in fact that I've gained a little weight...just in my tummy though so there is more to rub!

Halloween

I hope everyone had as good of a Halloween as I did! We had all sorts of little visitors all dressed up. Some were even dressed up like me. Mommy says we had 93 trick or treaters but they didn't give me any treats! Mommy gave us treats afterwards though because it was Griffin's birthday! He is 8 now and that seems kind of old to me but he still likes to play with me a lot so I won't tease him too much about his age. At least he isn't grumpy like Kiki! So we got catnip and I got mushrooms and Griffin got frozen peas. I really don't know why he likes frozen peas, mushrooms are much better! Well I better go roll around in the floor with Griffin! Someone has to keep him young!
