When he wanted attention, he would bang the cabinet doors by cupping his paw under them, and opening them... just a little bit and letting them bang closed!

Arrival Story:
Astro lived with a family for 10 1/2 years. He wasn't wanted any more because he was too demanding, and he "irritated" the wife. They had only bought him to match the black cat they had named Jetson. She said she hated Astro, and was going to kill him if we didn't take him. The first time I met him, I needed him. He was our FIRST kitty. He passed away April 2, 2004 he was about 12 years old.
Bio:
Astro was very assertive and wasn't afraid of ANY dogs. He was declawed before we got him, as well as neutered. His spirit was perfect for our home, and he taught us well. His Grizzly thought we got him just for him, cause Grizzly loved to chase cats, but this one wouldn't RUN! Grizzly was very old, and we only had Astro for about 6 weeks before Grizzly died. But he loved this cat in those 6 weeks!
Astro was such a friendly white baby, we thought if he had him at a younger age, we would have changed his name to Casper, but he was so used to his name....

Astro, our AMAZING Kitty!
Dear, sweet, Astro,
It has been so very many years since you left us! I can’t believe it has been 6 years!
You did spoil us, Astro. You, being our first kitty, made us think all kitties are like you. Oh, boy is that wrong. You had so much personality. So much confidence and you were so willing to be friends with anyone.
Not since you has Mickey been so quick to love. Remembering how you two used to snuggle makes me smile.
Daddy will always miss his “Man-Cat”. But you were my perfect white boy.
We will love you forever,
