Arrival Story:
We adopted him from the Toronto Humane Society on March 15/2000. He was a stray 3mos old kitten that someone found and brought him to the shelter. The person said they couldn't keep him because they had cats of their own. Joey was a very lucky boy. They took really good care of him, he was fed two times a day and had a clean litterbox. They even put a toy in his cage so he wouldn't get bored. We just lost are cat to kideny disease on Jan 28/2000. She was 13 years when we had to have her put down and it wasn't the same after tthat. It was very lonely and quiet. Decided to go down to the shelter to see what kind of cats they had up for adoption. There wasn't alot of kitties to choose from but I saw this black/white kitten all by himself in the cage. I fell in love with him right away and I did want a black/white cat. It was love at first sight. 30 mins he was on his way to his new home. They put him into a box, payed for him and he was are new family member.

Bio:
6 years later Joey is still with us and hope he is here for a long time to come. The best boy I could ever have. He has never hiss, scratch, growl or bite anyone. Only if he get really scared. The most sweetest, gentle and a laid-back guy. Joey is a part Maine Coon mix, they have the best personality. Friendly boy, loving being brushed, having his head being scratch and rubbed. Loves his tummy rubs. The most spoil boy!! Gets what he wants all the time.

My life is very boring

My life is very boring

Each day is the same to me! I wake up and I have my breakfast then I sleep for awhile. What else is there for a cat to do, not much. Nothing exciting ever happens in my life, the same old thing I do every day. I just live in a three bedroom apt and the only place I can go is on the balcony. But that is no fun, I can't see anything from up here. I'm all the way up on the 18 floor. I have the hallway but mommy don't want me going out there because there are sick people that hurt cats and don't like us. My mommy was telling me that the neighbour that live across from us that the kids are afraid of cats. I just think the parents brought them up that way not liking cats. For now on I have to stay in. "You just never no who is out there." I just have to settle for my stupid balcony. But life is soo much different/nicer in a house. At least there is a backyard to go into. I would never get bored there. I guess I will never get lucky living in a house. I just have to stick to my boring life in an apt. Well, that is it for now. Talk to you later. Bye for now!
