Arrival Story:
Story about her name: When we adopted her, they put her in a cardboard cat carrier for the ride home. Well, she was having none of it (being a tad claustrophobic) and immediately started to escape. I looked at my daughter and said something about opening Pandora's box.....and the name stuck.
Bio:
NOTE: Sadly Pandora became quite ill two weeks ago and though the bloodwork did not show anything, antibiotics did not help. On 7-31 our vet detected a mass in her abdomen and exploratory surgery reveals pancreatic cancer that had spread throughout her system. We gently escorted her across the Rainbow Bridge where she will no longer suffer. We will never forget her.
Pandora is the queen of all she surveys, and generally assumes that she is just a miniature panther. She takes no nonsense from the dogs, and will not tolerate any other felines. However, she is a total scaredy cat outdoors and has been pelted with acorns by the local squirrel family. So she spends her days staring at the out the window devising all manner of torture for them - if she were ever actually brave enough to go back outside.
