Arrival Story:
Snorkie was born in a field behind an office building, his mother was feral. He was taken to the local city shelter. My sister-in-law called the city to pick him and his brother up. I went to the city hall and picked him out of the cage in the service department. He was only about 5 weeks old and less than a pound. I had to feed him kitten formula the first two weeks because he wouldn't eat any of the cat or kitten food offered to him. He had ear mites, and became ill with a fever after the first week I had him. Of course it was on a Sunday morning when the only option is the Emergency Vet Clinic! He got better right away and has grown into a big handsome boy.
Bio:
Snork was born with bad gum disease. If he ever gets sick again, I will have to put him down because I absolutely cannot restrain him for anything, meds, nail clipping, just holding him. His feral mother instilled her wildness into him at a young age! He really only likes me, tolerates my husband. No one else has ever seem him unless it was while he was in a windowsill or something. He has no desire to go outside the house.
