When I was 4 years old, turning 5, my Mom decided I could get a cat for my birthday. Her best friend's cat had just had a litter of kits. She offered me one for free.
One day we went over to her house. I fell in love with a little tiny snow white kit, playing with it's mother. I asked if it was a boy or a girl. It was a girl. I told my Mom I wanted her. So we took her home with us.
We took her home in a little brown cardboard box. She was squeeling away. I decided I would name her after my Mom's old be-loved cat, Samantha. So their she stood, my first pet, Samantha. We thought she would be the ideal family pet...

Now of days Samantha is the fattest and laziest cat I know. At the age of 3, she turned into Fat Mantha.(now her nickname.)

I over heard my Mommy talking to her Mommy about getting a new kitten. I'm kind of exited. I like to nap, so I'm afraid that the lil' pumpkin's gonna wake me up! Other wise I'm okay with it. If it's a boy it will be named Lil' Devil. If it's a girl it will be named Lil' Hippie. I'm so exited to have a new liitle sister! I'm gonna be a big sister! YAY!
