Food, Pirates, Toys....life is GOOD!

For all of you pirate kitties out there, Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day! Arrrrrr, walk the plank, ye litter box dweller.

My owners bought me a different kind of food today. It is yummy. I told them that if they start buying that kind for me from now on, I will start cleaning my own litter box. They agreed. Mmmmmm.

I was taking inventory of my toys today and I noticed that none of them are a bag of catnip with "50lbs" stamped on it. This made me mad! How could my owners let things slide like this?? I will make a list for them to take to the store with them next time. Yeesh, now I am having to keep up with buying my own toys. What will be next? Having to refill my own food and water dishes?

I must go nibble at my yummy food some more.

In other news....nothing. All I ever do anymore is laze around all day. That is, when I'm not brown nosing so I can get stuff. I am so clever.

I hate Halloween and Christmas

Enough with the costumes! As if the potential Halloween costumes aren't bad enough they have already started with the Christmas costumes! Leave me alone, humans! I try being good natured about the whole thing by purring and not fussing too much, but then they just think that I must like it!. "Awww, he's purring. He must be so cozy in his soft costume." Gah. I quit. No more dumb costumes. I think the last straw came on Saturday. I sent them to the store to buy me more food. While they were there they saw some costumes that claimed to be for dogs. They found one that was supposed to be a skunk and said it would be perfect for me! How insulting. Hmph! This must somehow be connected to them thinking that I am friends with some skunks. Yes, I am friends with a few skunks in the area, but they do not make me stink. Notice I said that they are friends. Skunks only spray enemies. Also, I am a good friend to most animals in the area. Alas, I am moving away from the subject matter. Let us return.

In closing. It's very easy for me to proclaim, "NO MORE COSTUMES!". Yet, I feel that somehow I will inevitably be going back on my words.
