Arrival Story:
After losing Graham I just needed to see cats so I visited a Saturday Adoption Fair. I had no intention of adopting anyone, especially a female. Lo & behold I see this tiny little kitten point at me so I stopped to look -- she climbed into my heart & resides there still.

Bio:
Cagney came from a possibly abusive rescue situation. It took her quite some time to be comfortable with dad & time for her to accept our love. Now, 12 years later she is the Queen Bee of all our boy cats!

Mama came home today from being OUT and she told me: today Cagney we're going to make you a special picture.

So I sat on the desk beside her while she clicked and clicked and moved and sighed and clicked and then she yelled: FINALLY!!!

And the result is my St Patrick's Day picture.

I'm so excited to have a special picture...and I think I look purrty good, if I do say so myself.

It's My Birfday and I Can Nap If I Want To

Here it is, my birfday! Seems like they come 'round faster and faster efurry year.

Today I am 12! Mama says that makes me a mature girl.

WHAT EFFUR!

Anyway, I got my favorite breakfast of Innova this morning AND I got to have it on my own counter by myself without sharing the space with my pesky, pushy bruvvers.

Even Scout the Dog stayed inside this morning to wish me a Happy Day.

I was hoping for sunshine so I could have my favorite morning nap on the living room floor. Alas, for the one gazillionth day in a row there is no sun.

So what?! I'll make my own nap nest at the end of the sofa in the hidey hole. None of the bruvvers can fit in there so I'll have peace & quiet.

All this talk of napping has made me sleepy.........
