My 5th Anniversary

Hi Everykitty *waves* I know it's been a furry long time since I pawed in my diary. 5 years ago right down to the hour (pacific time) I left my mom, my sisfur T C & my brofur Diogi & found myself here at the bridge where I was reunited with my brofur Mickey & my sisfur Powie. Mom missed my last 3 anniversaries but even though she wasn't home to help me write this I still knew she was thinking of me cause I saw her eyes leaking.
I'm furry proud of my brofur Diogi who started out a a crazy insane kitten (didn't even know he was a kitten)& now he is a big brofur to 3 sisfurs (Pawlette, Midnight & Sookie) & 2 brofurs (Zippie & Mr Lollycat McNoNo)
I waited to send my mom a new kitty till the purfect one was born. Zippie went to live with my mom after T C came here to the bridge. He looks sooooooooooo much like me sometimes my mom & furless brother even call him Spotty MOL.
One more thing before I go: Mom I am FINE, so are Mickey, Powie, Misty, T C & latest but not least my sisfur Squirt. We'll all be here when ever you are ready to join us so there is no need to hurry. I LOVE LOVE LOVE you!

Wow it's been a long time/my visit

Hello to all of my furriends out there,

I has been almost a year since my last entry; that's crazy!
I am pawwing this entry to tell you all of my visit the other night.
As many of you know one of moms newest additions Mr Lollycat McNoNo has been trying to trump my previous title as Mr NoNo.
I decided to fly down & visit with the little guy & is he ever a cutie!
I told him about my many many no-no's when I was his age & I also told him that I still do no-no's even here at the Bridge; but they aren't really no-no's up here; I just think of them as fun!
We had a nice long talk & eventually woke up mom (well her alarm clock did) but then it was Lolly's voice asking me to teach him to do no-no's & not get caught. He also asked me how he will know when 2 or 5 years are up because he is going to get married then. Mom woke up so I didn't get to answer him; but I'm planning on another visit sometime soon.

Do Bridge kitties have birthdays?

Well today March 15th, 2008 I would have been 12 years old. This is my 2nd birthday at the Bridge. I am healthy & quite content to play with my furriends, roll in catnip with my best girl Prissy & eat all I want of Bridge delicasies like BBQ birdies, bacon wrapped mousies, catnip creme filled creme puffs. Not to brag or anything; but how many cats do you know that can build a snowcat in the 75 degree sun? **waves his paw** I've done it.

Mommy I am so sorry you still miss me & even sorrier that my little sister T C had to come join me. We are here with Mickey & Powie & even Diogi's sis Misty; but you know as I do that we'll all be together again someday furrever & ever. I don't feel a day older than I did at say 3 months old. (Remember when I stole the trash bag?) I will be thinking about you all day today mommy; so dry your eyes & hug my brothers. You gotta admit little Zippie is everybit as much of a clown as I was. Remember the good times & they will get you through the bad.

4 Months; Only 4 Months

WOW! 4 months ago; I was still in my house! 4 months ago; My mommy could still hear me purrrrrr (I was verrrrry good at it). 4 months ago; I missed my 1st meal- EVER! 4 months ago; My mommy realized something was wrong!
4 months ago; I was still the "Boss" in my house. 4 months ago; My brother Diogi still had No Clue how to be a "Cat" 4 months ago; Nobody in my family realized that Orange cats are "brilliant". 4 months ago it was a different year,
In a strange way it seems to make it better to think of all of these changes in terms of last year!
Looking back on the last 4 months & realizing just how much things can change in just the "blink of an eye". If we had been paying attention; taking time to "smell the roses"; slow down just a little bit. Would our lives be different now? Would I still be the "Boss" in my house? Maybe! Would Diogi still be "untouchable"? Maybe!
However, chances are that my mommy wouldn't have anymore of a clue that I was sick than she did 4 months + 1 day ago. Soooooooooo with that being said I've decided that we need to look forward ; not back. We need to look not at what we've lost, but at what we've gained. Mommy realizes now just how much her little feline babies mean to her. She doesn't take those sweet, loud purrrrrrrrrs laying next to her for granted. We are trying to live each day we have with each other as if it were the last; because we never know; it just might be!
Please to everycat who reads this; Please slow down, enjoy each other, enjoy your lives. I mean what is the point of life; if we're just rushing through it? That would be like working your paws off to build a fortune; just to hoard it away. You can't take it with you!!
I know my mommy misses me dearly; my ashes are on her computer desk, so right now I'm right here next to her!! I also know that she knows we'll be together again. Mommy please stop crying. There's nothing more you could have done! (I wasn't going to tell you). I love you, I miss you!! But just slow down & enjoy your time with my sister & brother. They need you now. I'll see you all when that time comes.
