Basement Blues

woo, its' been soooooo hot today. I decided to take a trip to the basement to get cooled off for awhile. I just forgot how steep the steps are now that I'm so old. Haven't gone down there too much this past year. Hmmmmm, let me check this out. oh yeah. I need to be on the 5th step down from the top to be able to jump up onto the florescant light fixture. here we go body. oooomph. oh well, can't do that anymore. this old bod aint what she used to be. oh well, let me go check out all the new sites. P - U !!!!! wait till the mother person gets down here to see what that brat Tally did. she went and bit a hole in the trash bag and now all the stinks coming out. stupid Tally, don't she know this is our vacation spot in the summer? Ahhhhh there it is, my old comfy x'mas box in the corner. Best seat in the house when its hot out. AWWWW MAN!!!!! I can't even jump up to it anymore. well, guess I'll just have to sit on the floor now. Hey, its not so bad. It's kinda cool even. I could use a blanket or pillow though. The mother person thinks I look so forlorn when I'm down here like this. I'll let ya all in on da secret. It's all in her mind. I feel good. I just put on the forlorn look to get extra pets. LOL. whatever works. purrrrr.

tryin to get a little sleep around here

ahhhhhhh just had a bite to eat, now I can lay down on my very own table and go to sleep. May I remind everyone that this table is MINE! I rate around here. (big cheese smile) the rest of you .........stay clear!

mmmmm all snugged down in my blanket. Feels gooood... WHA!!!!!!! man...... that silly Tally. Jumped right on my head to get to the steps where her food is. She has a big perception problem. she leaps before looking. NOT GOOD. Especially for me! Can't a old lady get some rest without a youngin' jumping on her head. Now, I 'll have to hiss and growl at her, then she's gonna think I'm playin...... I'M NOT! she just don't get it. look kid, when I'm hissing and showing my teeth, it means git!!!!!!! NOT STAY!!!!!!!!!! What's yer problem? Go away......... stop trying to get me interested in a game of chase me. OK...... now she's gone, maybe now I can rest? oh sure, now the dumb dog coming over. Get over it doggo - I don't play well anymore. what? You wanna be like tally? well, here's a claw to the nose! YaY! he yiped. right on target. I"m good. Keep tellin these youngins to stay away from my turf, maybe now they'll listen. Geesh! what a girl has to do just to get a little rest around here. MY goodness!
