Stomach Flu

I wasn't feeling too well a couple of days ago. I really scared mommy and daddy. I threw up on the floor. I ran downstairs to make sure I didn't throw up in their bed. I threw up a couple of times that night and in the morning I was tired and slow. Mom was really worried. She hugged me in the morning but I didn't want to do anything. I just wanted to lay down. Daddy said he'd take me to the vet. I was scared. I couldn't get an appointment until 2 in the afternoon so I spent the day at work with daddy. It was fun. I hid behind a bookshelf. I started to feel a bit better and I played a bit while daddy worked. I hope he didn't get into too much trouble. I went to the vet and he said I had a stomach flu and I didn't really have a fever so just to keep an eye on me. Mommy was happy but upset. She was sorry I was sick. She was also mad that vets are so expensive. At least I'm ok. She was really worried about me.

Cat Show

Mommy and Daddy went to a cat show on the weekend. They said we couldn't come because it would be too noisy and scary with all the well behaved cats around and all the people. My brother and I freak a lot. They brought us back a toy and they said they saw lots of neat cats. Mom doesn't really support pure breeding but she said there were a lot of beautiful cats... some not so beautiful too. She said it was neat. They brought us back a toy. It's my favourite colour! Green! They also brought back a groomer. Mom took a whole cat worth of fur off of me and Artemis yesterday and we're still shedding more. She may try again today. Sheesh.

Loud Kittens

These humans have such loud kittens. One has been mewing under the window all day. It doesn' t really sound so much like a mew as it does like a blah blah blah. I wish they would be more quiet. It's very hard to hear when Artemis sneaks up on me when they drown out his paw steps.

I am excited. Mommy told me she is going to the library today to get more books to help me out with everything I could ever imagine. Daddy says there are lots of books there for mommy to read all about kitties.

Busy Internet Day

I have been having a lot of fun exploring catster today. I have already met a lot of lovely cats who are oh so nice to me and I have answered a lot of forum questions that I hope were helpful. I am starting to join groups and explore. I am having so much fun. Mommy is going nuts keeping up with all the stuff I want to do. I love it here but for now I think I need to take a nap so I can build up energy to write more later.

First Day

This is my first entry. I think I am going to really enjoy catster. I am so glad to have a space of my own. It's about time someone started a great spot for cats to share our ideas and our lives. I had a good day today. Lots of wet food and treats... yum! Mommy tried this new clicker training with us. I had to follow a green chop stick for treats and clicks. I love green. Green is my favourite colour. It matches my eyes. The training was a bit confusing but I got lots of treats and that's really all I care about. Mommy took the litter out of my potty training bowl so I had to hold it for a long time. I like to dig in my litter a lot. Mommy gave me lots of pets today since she was home and she painted my food dish with pretty leaves and green letters. What an excellent first day. I hope I get to sleep in the bedroom tonight but if Artemis doesn't poop soon we wont be allowed in. I love it when we can sleep in the bed. I like to snuggle on dad. Wish me luck!
