When mom and dad lounge around for the evenings and watch tele, I usually come and do the same and lay up on the back of the couch. My dad always says to mom, "Sweetpea sure has the neatest markings. She is the prettiest little thing. You sure can tell that she is your cat though, she only seems to like you and she only tolerates me".
I am kind of aloof with all other human beings except for mom. That doesn't mean that I don't like them but I guess it is because of what I heard the vet tell mom when she brought me in for a shot. The vet said, "Torties have attitude". So, I guess that is my explanation because I can't think of a good reason of why I am the way I am.
