Arrival Story:
Puddie visited us about 4 months before he moved in. We were working and he joined us for lunch on the back of the truck, we all shared lunch that day and I wanted to bring him home but I was told no. Later the land lord called us and told us he was going to take this kitty to the pound unless we wanted him, but we had to come get him. So we went, Puddie was very upset, his people ran away in the middle of the night never to return and left him all alone, he was hungry. We grabbed him and brought him home. He was scared for a very short time but settled in very nicely. He had his first visit with the Vet I think he ever had and we were told he was a very old (13 yrs) and hungry, lost weight from no one being home but doing well, so we figured a few years with him and we would make him happy. He was like Kramer on TV the way he would come into the house from his cat door, even if the door was open, he would still bust it open all the way. The few years lasted 10 and he was very happy. He is still missed and he sent up others to help ease the pain of his loss.

Puddie was a very happy People kitty, we would always have company and he would always come and make them pet him, scratch him and play with him. He was a very spiritual guy, liked the Reike going on. When he passed he sent us our baby Gray as she was only a few months old and very hungry. I believe he sent her to us knowing we would watch over her. He was a very loving kitty and always met us when we got home from work. Snuggling was a favorite pass time for him. And if he could get under the covers that made life even better. He was only 23 (people years) when he left us but he's still in the house running it and keeping watch over us. We love our Puddie and always will have a special place for him.

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write about themselves (the seven random facts) as well as the rules in their diary. You need to select seven cats to tag and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment (via p-mail) telling them that they've been tagged and that they need to read your diary for more information.

I have been with this family for I don't know how long but they either lock me in the house or the lock me out of the house. It's ok, the people on the street always feed me so I don't worry about not getting in the house. I found this pick up truck one day, it had a meatball sandwich in a bag in it and I was walking around inside it when people showed up. So I played it cool and they gave me some. I thanked them and went off but stayed close incase they had more food. The lady said she wanted to bring me home and the guy said no, he gets sick if I would scratch him, and the landlord (whoever that is) doesn't allow kitties.

Time passed and all of a sudden when I was out one night, I couldn't get back in my house. I was getting hungry and didn't see the car in the driveway for a long time. So I walked around for a few days and found junk to eat. Then went back home. There was this guy there with kids and they weren't my kids so I tried to chase them away. Instead they cornered me and the next thing I knew someone grabbed me and put me in a box. All the growling, and hissing didn't help, this one must have known I didn't have front claws, but I have back ones, and I used them!!! So I was trying to get out of this box and I heard voices, a low one and a high one and something was holding the top so I couldn't get out or see anything.

All of a sudden the box was being moved around and the top opened and I ran out, only to find myself inside some room with some weird noise coming out of something, that made me jump. So I slowly started sniffing around and checking out the place. No other critters lived here except human. This is a weird place, why was I here, how did I get here and without seeing where I was I wouldn't be able to find my way home.

Ok, I'll stay here but I want to go outside!! So these people started calling me Puddie, and I don't understand but there is something to do with Puddie Tat and some bird named Tweetie. The lady (mom) wanted to call me Chrismistopher for some stupid reason but the guy (dad) made my name stick, I like it much better.

So all of a sudden I'm going to this Dr. and they are checking me out, I'm old, I have no front claws, I'm not talking about my eye, no one but me know how I lost the sight in it but me and I just don't want to speak of it, I'm loosing weight and the Dr. figures I have a few years left in me. He said I was about 13 in people years. I never did ask, what's with this people/cat/dog years? don't we all have the same amount of birthdays?

Anyhow, mom and dad decided to keep me and let me be happy till my time came. I found out the one that cornered me was the landlord and my family left in the middle of the night so the landlord let me live with my new family even though he's the one that said no kitties.

I had lots of fun for the next 10 years with my new family. I even went to Cape Cod for a week with them, that was a long trip. I don't do boxes and just sat on mom's lap for that trip while she drove. I think I made her leg fall asleep because she kept wiggling.

We had lots of good times, and when I have more time, I will talk about the trip to Cape Cod, if only I can find those pics. I will. It's so nice to have humans that really care. meow...ppuuuuurrrr
