What a busy week

It has been a while since I have had time to write in my diary but I have been so busy. Well, mommy has and by default that means me too cuz I help her.

Mommy managed to get more pictures of me doing stuff that I shouldn't be doing. Daddy had put Dora's treat jar on the floor with no lid to show her that there were no Pup-a-roni's in there. Well, when their backs were turned I got in to the jar and pulled out all the other treats onto the floor and ate a couple of my kitty treats that were in there also. I started to eat one of Dora's treats but they were too hard for me to bite. When Dora saw me doing that, she came over and started eating up all the treats on the floor so I couldn't and they were ones she didn't like! So I went back to getting the rest of the treats out of the jar. Mommy got pictures of me in the jar, the treats on the floor, Dora eating them and then no treats on the floor cuz Dora had eaten them all.

Dora ended up throwing up 3 times and I threw up twice that evening. I think we may have eaten too much!

Mommy bought me this really cool thing from Wal-mart. It is a cube with openings in the sides and tassels hanging down inside it. You can actually connect several of them togehter to form a tube. I love my new cube. Mommy and Daddy call it "Q's Cube"! I get in that thing and jump in and out of it and make it go all over the place while I am inside it. Mommy wants to get me a couple more so they can be connected. I can hardly wait that will be so COOL!

I have now figured out how to go through Dora's Doggie Door to get into the garage. I can even get back into the apartment by myself! There are so many things to get into out there. Mommy got pictures of me playing with Daddy's tools also. Mommy says she is gonna put my poopie box out there soon. It seems to be getting closer to the door everyday so maybe soon it will be.

They finally found a dry cat food that I will eat and will even demand they give me! It is Fancy Feast Gourmet and it is $6 for a small bag of it. Daddy and Mommy have bought me Meow Mix treats and those are really yummy too! When I want one I go up to the container and start rubbing against it and if that doesn't work, I push it off the countertop so when it falls on the floor the lid pops off and I just help my self. Heehee

Well, I better stop for now as my typist is getting tired and has to keep correcting her typing errors. I'll write some more later.

Mommy's little helper.

Mommy has been real busy cleaning the house, doing laundry, mopping and all sorts of stuff. I have been right there beside her helping her do all this work.

I helped to sort the laundry by jumping in all the baskets to make sure the right colors were in the proper baskets and then if I thought it didn't belong, I dragged it out of the basket on to the floor. When mommy was done washing the laundry, I helped to fold them by putting my little paw on the item and again if not folded correctly I unfolded it so she could do it correctly. Then when she was putting everything away I made sure that the drawers and closets had enough space for the clean clothes by getting in and under the drawers. Mommy wanted to play cuz she kept picking me up out of the drawer and putting me on the floor but I would insist that she keep working by getting back in the drawer.

When she was mopping the floor I had to make sure it was nice and clean and shiny so I would follow after the mop just to make sure. For some reason she kept mopping the floor after I walked on it. I thought my paw prints were a nice touch!

I helped do the dishes by making sure the dishwasher was loaded properly and the only way to do that is to get inside it. When she had to hand wash dishes I made sure the water was the right temperature by putting my paws in it. I also made sure she wiped the counters real good by following along and helping push the sponge to wipe the counters down. She kept wiping the counters after me too.

Me and Dora made sure that we moved our toys onto the carpet for when she vacuumed. She kept putting them on a shelf,...but she had just dusted the shelves, the carpet was a better spot for them. Plus Dora followed her around and barked when she vacuumed, I just sat on the couch and supervised.

I also made sure she had something to keep scooping while she was scooping my litter box. I even helped make the bed by making sure there were no wrinkles between the sheets.

Mommy was so busy cleaning that when it was time for me to eat, I got my bag of dry food down and fed myself. She was so proud of me for that she clapped and shouted my name.

I am just plain tuckered out after helping mommy do all this cleaning. She says next time I don't have to help. We shall just see about that. She needs me to help her other wise it won't be done right.

It's time for me to go to sleep as there is some more stuff to clean tomorrow and I want to be rested and have lots of energy inorder to help her.

Ooooh I forgot something

I forgot to mention that I managed to sneak a piece of chicken that mommy had cooked for dinner out of the pan and eat it! It was really good too! She threatened to make a pair of slippers out of me, but all I did was look at her really cute and she melted. Hope I can keep this cute kitty thing going for a long time! heeheee

What a weekend!

Boy oh boy, this weekend has been full of drama.

On Saturday my doggie sister A Dora Belle (Dora) got poked really really hard in the eye by some mean evil man. Daddy had taken her for a walk to the local market and some man asked her name and what type of dog and if he could pet her. Daddy said yes, and then the evil guy bent down and kinda took Dora's collar and tags in his hand as if to read what they say, HE POKED HER IN THE EYE! Daddy was so worried about Dora that the evil guy got away.

I have been really sweet to Dora and have been making sure she stays quiet and calm and we aren't playing very hard right now. Her eye was all swollen shut, red and oozy but she is able to open it up now. It is just a little weepy and she says sensitive to the lights. Mommy and Daddy will take her to the vet today (Monday). The emergency vet wanted lots of money just to see her on Saturday so daddy and mommy decided to wait to go to her regular vet. Mommy told daddy that is why she doesn't want me to go outside, people do mean things to dogs and they are even meaner to kitties.

Me...I think I'll stay inside where it is safe.

It has been so so very hot here and it is really humid (that's what mommy says). Saturday evening it got really windy and all these clouds came in that were so dark looking. I had not seen anything like that before as after all I am only 13 weeks old.

Then early in the morning on Sunday, there was all this loud noise coming from the sky. It kept going BOOM, BOOM! Then there were these bright flashes of light. Mommy said it was thunder and lightening. It even rained! In July! In Southern California! I was scared but tried to act brave for mommy. I was sleeping on her chest when it started, so I just snuggled up closer to her to protect her. (at least that's my story and I am sticking to it!!) I hope we don't have any more stuff like that.

Well, that is about it for my weekend. It was pretty darn exciting for little ole Q here. Mommy did add a Star Trek background to my page, a curser and some music (Stairway to Heaven).

Time to go make sure Dora is doing okay and to give her some kitty kisses. Those will help her feel better really fast.

What a great week learning things!

Well I have been busy getting into all kinds of mischief and learning
new things.

I learned how to get the lid off of my doggie sisters treat jar and get
in there and eat her treats. heehee. Mommy just happened to see me
doing it and took a picture of me with my head in the jar. While I was
doing that my doggie sister figured out how to get the security cover off
of the doggie door and get out! Poor mommy didn't know what to do!

I got into some pork chops that were on the counter that mommy was
getting ready to make for their dinner. I tried to tell her all it takes
is a nanosecond for her not to look and wham I am there eating. She
yelled at me but then picked me up and gave me hugs and kisses. She can't
stay mad at me for long she says cuz I am just so cute. Being a cute,
cuddley kitten sure does help.

Then yesterday when mommy was on a ladder cleaning a ceiling fan, I
climbed up the ladder to help her by playing with the pull chains to the
fan. I had lots of fun on the ladder and even did some kitty
gymnastics. Mommy and daddy said I could be in the animal olympics and would win the gold. heehee. Mom took pictures of that also.

please!

I told my mommy that she needs to get her priorities straight and let me on the computer! Maybe I would stay out of trouble. NOT!

My First Week Home

I have been here at my forever home now for a week. I love my mommy and daddy. I sleep with mommy all the time and never let her out of my sight. She plays with me and hold and hugs me and gives me kisses all the time. Daddy does too but my doggie sister Dora is usually hogging all his attention.

I wasn't too sure about the doggie Dora but she is okay. We play together all the time and I have gotten in a few good wacks on her. hehehe. We are even starting to curl up next to each other and sleep for a little bit together. Mommy and Daddy are really excited about that! I don't know why...

I am really excited about being the Super Special Tabby Weapon in the Tabby Hall Mystery story. I am Ninja Q! Fear Me! :).

I am 9 weeks old today. Mommy and Daddy say I am getting to be a big boy.

I got in trouble the other day cuz I turned mommy's computer off 4 times while she was in the middle of sumpthin important! Then while she was trying to put all the cords and the power strip where I couldn't get to them, I tried to chew them and climb her hands and arms. She didn't like that but I had fun! Now all the cords are hidden under a box so I can't get to them. Drat it all. Mommy calls me Satan's Spawn or Demon Kitty now!

I also got in trouble for playing with her feet and hands all night one night. They were just too tempting sticking out from under the bed covers. I also like to play with her fingers when she is typing on the computer. There are so many fun things to do and so much to explore!

Well, it is time to go bug my sister and see if I can get her in trouble.
