Likes:
He probably likes being petted best, though he still enjoys playing now and again in short spurts. In his advancing age he sleeps much more.

Pet-Peeves:
Not being let out or in when he wants it (especially if it's night and he wants to go out, and some fool things called "coyotes" get mentioned, and he has to stay in... oh how his tail thrashes!)

Favorite Toy:
hands!

Favorite Nap Spot:
laps are good, or hidden places, or bits of sunlight.

Favorite Food:
tuna straight from the can.

Skills:
He's invincible! He's lived through all sorts of trauma and hardship, and he still thinks he's three. He still looks and acts three. He's awesome.

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
One day long ago, when I was eleven or twelve, a friend and I were having a walk. We stopped to pet a friendly cat. He followed us, and kept following to the point we were concerned he was lost. We picked him up and started asking around... turned out he was a stray. He came home with me after that and has been our kitty ever since. He still loves to trail along on walks.

Bio:
SUPERCAT has had more than his share of having his nine lives threatened. He had some kind of problem in his younger days where he had a seizure and some neurological symptoms. We thought he was going to die but instead he just walked with his head cocked to one side for about a year, then continued on good as new, with no more trace of the disability. He was later caught in a trap and lost a toe, but was none the worse for wear after that either. Then a neighbor's dog grabbed him and we feared he was done for, especially after he had a terrible reaction to the antibiotics the vet gave him to patch him up. But he's still going strong against all odds. He's one of the best cats I've ever known and he pretty much acts as if he understood when I told him he's not allowed to die till he's at least 20, and is holding himself to it. ^_^ Update: He did not quite make it to 20. He was deteriorating and we had to make the hardest choice ever. We helped our adored Old Man cross the bridge in August of 09. Goodbye, Jakey. We will always remember you, and fondly.

Today I did a perimeter search. No roaming toms. They all keep their distance, I am sure, because of the banner of all things masucline and tough that roams these parts! That's me!

The napping places, the food dish, and the leg-rubbing rights, are all unequivocally mine.

Life is good.
