Arrival Story: We got Teddy from a local group-Scat- who spay or neuter feral cats and then release them and provide care for them. Scat also adopts cats when they can become domestic. Teddy was trapped as a kitten, all of his litter had died, so they decided to trap him. He was fostered by a Scat volunteer until we got him at around six months old.
Sadly, Teddy passed away of liver and pancreatic cancer on July 14,2008. The oncologist told us he had a few days to a few weeks to live when we took him to her. He fought on for a month-but he stopped eating and we knew it was time to help him along to the next world. He died peaceful in our arms. He will be ever missed and ever loved.
Bio: Teddy doesn't meow as most ferals don't. He also didn't really like people until he was about five years old-it took awhile. Its not that he didn't like us really, but rather that he looked to the other cats in the house for his close relationships. Now he is a love man. He is my little black angel. He has had health problems but he is okay now. He is the sixth cat in the house. Emily and Sera were the seventh and eighth, and they are three younger than him. To this day he hates them without abatement. Teddy is a special cat and I think all the people in the house count him as the favorite.
