I didn't make it. I've crossed the Bridge...

Mommy and Daddy are devasted. I passed on my own in the hospital. The MRI showed signs of Cancer. Mom and Dad went to the hospital to say "goodbye" to me. They talked to me, pet me, cried, stratched behind my ears one last time. They told me how much they love me and how they'll miss me. Mom kissed me goodbye as she left the room and told me to "Be good in Heaven!!" They returned home with clippings of my fur and whiskers. The hospital also sent Mom and Dad home with a clay disc with 2 of my paw prints on it. Mommy is baking it now as she types. Thank you to everyone for all the love, support, prayers, Rosettes, wings, etc. Mommy and I love you all.

I'm fighting for my life!!!!

As Mommy types this...I'm in the ICU of the hospital. They will keep me for the weekend if I pull through. Daddy is on his way home now. He and Mommy will go back to the hospital tomorrow and visit me. Please pray for me. My condition is still critical. My family will keep you up-to-date.

I'm ill again...

Mom and Dad noticed some weight loss on me and didn't like it. I saw the Vet on Wednesday morning. He took the usual blood and urine from me. He also wants me to see a DVM cardiologist to get an ultra sound done. The vet thinks I could have cardiomyopathy. My appointment is on July 2. My bloodwork came back on Thursday. The vet said that my T-4 count was elevated and asked Mom's permission to perform another test on my blood to further check my thyroid. Mom asked if I still needed to see the cardiologist. The vet said "yes" and had already faxed my medical records to him. The second blood test is not back yet. Mom just wants me diagnosed so I can start receiving treatment.

Hey!!! What happend to one of my paws??!?!?!??!

I just noticed on my page that my paw rating went down from 5 paws to 4!!!! What's up with that??? That stinks. Who would downgrade me?? Oh well, some folks just lack good taste!!!

All I want for Christmas is...

MY TESTS CAME BACK NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm offically no longer borderline CRF!! My kidney function is now NORMAL!! My parents are so thrilled with this news. The vet wants me to continue my low protien and phosphorous diet. Thank you Wellness brand food!!!

I went to the vet today.

I got blood and urine drawn from me. I lost a half pound since last year. Not very good. Mom will get my test results tomorrow. The vet told her and dad about medical advances in CRF since Sabrina lost her battle four years ago. They still can't cure it, but they can better track and predict it's progression. And that is supposed to help the vets combat it. Or at best expand my quality of life!!!!

WOW!! Just how many honors can I get in such a short time? My girlfriend, Edgarina Ballarina is so proud. My sister Zoe had the honor in September. I understand the swelled head thing she talked about. Mine now feels like the size of Zoe's behind. MOL!!
