I have neglected my blog. Maybe I have just been enjoying becoming such a chubby boy. That cupboard where they keep those little cans is my best place in the world. Owen does not get excited about the contents of the cupboard, but I sure do!
My new favorite place is the crawlspace. Papa cleaned it all up this winter, fixed it nice and even added lights so he and Mom can go in there to find things that suddenly filled it up. There are cool places to hide in and I love sitting on the big metal thing that comes out of that other metal thing that makes noise. Boy, do my paws get warm sitting there.
Mom thinks I will not enjoy it quite as much when they turn on something called an 'air conditioner'. We'll see.
I have taught Mom a new trick. Every time I up on the fireplace, she gives me treats. Do I have her well trained or what?
Moth season has arrived and I just know they will come in with Mom and Papa and then Owen and I can play with them (well...I will play with them...Owen just eats them and the fun is over. What a silly guy.)

A rather large, black dog entered our home last week and he seems to be here for a while. What is 2 weeks?
Owen seems to like him a lot but I am still a bit nervous. He doesn't seem to notice us at all. What's with that guy? Am I not cute? Worth giving chase to?
I like to stare at him a lot. Yesterday I got into his blanket on the floor, just to see what would happen. Well....BAM! I feel something on my head and when I try and get out of the blanket my way is blocked by his big paw holding it down.
I backed up and found another way out and decided that was not such a good idea.
But, darn, it was kind of fun. (I'm all about trouble).

What a great summer this has been. Even though we are not allowed to go to that outside the door place, we did manage to have a lot of flying things come in when mom and papa came through the door. Papa said he has to move the light away from the door so the moths don't come in at night when they come in.
I say "Nooooo" .
Leave the light right where it is.
I had a great moth right at the doorstep last week and suddenly Owen showed up and it disappeared. He had scared it off so I kept looking for it.
Is that moth dust on his upper lip?
