Thank You and Happy Thanksgiving!

I would like to thank everycat who sent me furrend requests, p-mails, comments, and those yummy turkey rosettes to congratulate me on my Daily Diary Pick Honor yesterday. They are much appreciated. Now I won't have to worry about not having any turkey for Thanksgiving.

I have quite a nice day yesterday. Meowmy bought me some wet food that is sorta like Tiki Cat. It was chicken in a pumpkin soup and was delicious. She also bought me a can of Merrick's Thanksgiving Day Dinner to have tomorrow on Thanksgiving. Then she decided to go to Petsmart and she picked up a purrty red and green Catmas collar that has bells on it and a reindeer hat. I wasn't too thrilled about the reindeer hat, but I realize meowmy has to get her pictures of me looking cute. She also bought me these things called Nail Caps. They are pink and purple and you just apply them on a cats nails with this adhesive glue. Meowmy says I look pretty and I don't catch on her clothes, but I wasn't too fond of these and pulled some of them off. I still have some on though which meowmy is happy about.

I'm really looking forward to my Thanksgiving Day Dinner moist food tomorrow. I sure hope everycat whose furrmily is celebrating Thanksgiving gets plenty of turkey tomorrow. I know after I am done with my turkey dinner, I will take a nice cat nap. Then maybe I will help meowmy with her Catmas cards when she comes home tomorrow night.

I'm a Daily Diary Pick today! Thanks Diary Gal! She must have felt sorry for me not getting any turkey for Thanksgiving. I do think this honor entitles me to a special treat of some sort don't you think?

Anymeow, I have my Catmas shopping done for both meowmy and Grandmaw and Grandpaw. I'm going to help meowmy wrap Catmas gifts today, but she just has to forget what I got her and she probably will. Meowmy doesn't have all of her shopping done yet though. On her father's side of the family, they just drew names and she has one of her uncles to buy for and she's not sure what her meowmy's side is doing yet. There was some talk of just getting a general present and people picking numbers and just taking something. You see my meowmy has quite a few aunts, uncles and cousins and it would get very expensive having to shop for every one of them.

How about the other Catster cats out there? Have any of you started your Catmas shopping yet?

A Turkeyless Thanksgiving!

OMC! It can't be so. Meowmy went for an early Thanksgiving recently and they served turkey and she didn't bring me home any. Then she tells me the next Thanksgiving she is going to they aren't even serving turkey. What is Thanksgiving without a turkey? I really knead to go visit one of my Catster furrends who are having turkey for Thanksgiving. Anycat want to invite me?

Catmas Purrade!

So meowmy tells me that we are going to be watching the Catmas Purrade in Milwaukee on TV today. I sure wonder if they are going to have any cats or cat floats in the purrade? They better not just have ugly kitties (dogs) represented. It always seems like they are over represented and we are always under represented.

On another note, meowmy had her chicken pawty yesterday at Applebees and brought some leftover wings home. I sure hope she reheats those for lunch today and gives me a taste. That would rule!

I hope everycat has a meowy good weekend! Meowmy tells me she is going out of town tomorrow. I sure hope that if what she is doing involves food, that she brings some back for me.

A Year Long Chicken Pawty!

So meowmy decided to go to Applebees for lunch. She had some money left on a Gift Card and she had also received some money for Thanksgiving from one of her uncles. Anymeow, the waitress informed her that they were giving out free wings for a year to the first 50 customers. Well, guess what? Meowmy was one of the lucky 50 customers. I hope that means I can be part of these chicken pawties too.

Catmas Picture Shoot and Catmas Card Exchange!

Yesterday, meowmy did a Catmas Picture shoot with me. At first, I didn't want to cooperate, but on the second shoot she got the purrfect picture. She uploaded the picture to Walgreens and ordered wallet size prints to put in our Catmas Cards.

Speaking of Catmas Cards, if anycat would like to exchange Catmas Cards this year and we don't have your address, feel free to p-mail me and I will make sure my secretary/meowmy adds you/your family to our list.

Oh Litter!

Quite literally that was my response this morning. You see my meowmy is a real cluts. She took a fresh bag of cat litter that she had just opened into the bathroom and set it ontop of the toilet. Well she was going to change the towels in the bathroom and knocked down the bag of litter instead. There was litter all over the bathroom floor. As a result, this meant that Big Scarey Monster had to make an appearance. Well, you know what happens when Big Scarey Monster comes out - you got it, I run and hide. I hid downstairs underneath one of meowmy's bikes. She came down and saw this and said "Colleen, I don't think you want to lie underneath that bike. What if it falls on you? You could be hurt really bad!" When I heard this I figured that meowmy knows best and I decided to move. Meowmy was very proud of me for this.

Other than that, nothing is to new at the condo. I would highly recommend my friend Newman's Poopology book. We read some of it yesterday and it is really funny. My picture is in it three times too along with plenty of our other Catster friends.

Meowmy Saw Newmie's Twin Yesterday!

Yesterday when meowmy was picking up some more cat food for me, she saw what she likes to refer to as Newmie's twin at the Animal Doctor. He has the same markings and blue eyes. His name is Snoops and he is very friendly. He likes to come over to my stroller and peak right in. I always hiss at him though. I just don't like other cats invading my purrsonal space. Anymeow, meowmy said that he had to come right over and check out what meowmy was buying and he let meowmy pet him. When she left Snoops followed her to the door and meowmy said to him, "No you can't come with." Good for meowmy I say. I would not want one of those brothers constantly harrassing me.

I'd like to thank everycat who stopped by my page yesterday to congratulate me on my Diary Pick honor! Thanks for all the rosettes and p-mails. It was a very nice day and meowmy bought me a Yeow Catnip Lemon.

I'm just relaxing at home today. Meowmy is over at Grandmaw and Grandpaw's house today. She said that she will probably be watching the Green Bay Packers game today and watching more of her scary movies.
