My Yard and Barbeque Chicken Pizza

Meow, Meow, Meow,

It's Colleen checking in again. I have a good day again. Mommy got me up as usual, fed me and took care of my litter box. Then she let me roam around the house before she had to leave for work. I was hanging out in my favorite spot again and I noticed a squirrel, a chipmunk, and what appeared to be a woodpecker. I was so excited. I just have a purr-fect view of nature sitting right by the patio door.

When mommy arrived home from work, she had a pizza from Papa Murphy's in hand. It turned out it was Barbeque Chicken. Mommy threw that in the oven and then ate. Of course I was very interested in tasting it, so mommy broke off an end where there was just crust and cheese and let me eat it. She also gave me a piece of the barbeque chicken. I loved it all.

Right now I am taking up part of mommy's computer chair. I love sitting on it with her while I tell her what to type.

To all my feline friends, have a good evening.

Meow, Meow,

Colleen

Meow, Meow,

Hope all you kitties out there are doing well. I'm doing pretty well myself.

My day was pretty typical - woke up, ate, mommy cleaned my litter box, and I got to sit near the patio door and watch for chipmunks and birds. I don't remember seeing anything too special. The big highlight of my day was when mommy came home and made a Lean Cuisine Chicken Parmesean dinner and gave me some of the chicken and pasta. It was delicious. I just love chicken. I hope mommy makes for chicken dishes.

Right now, I'm just relaxing ontop of my mommy's computer desk and lying on my catnip blanket. I'm pretty tired as I've had a very busy day playing with my toys.

Have a good evening and I'll meow with you all later.

Meow, Meow,

It's been a wonderful short work for me. I've had alot of fun playing with my cat toys and watching birds, chipmunks, and squirrels.

My mommy is on vacation for six days. I'm so happy, that means I get to spend more time with her. My human relatives from St. Louis might be coming to see me and mommy's friend Mark is going to be coming over on Monday. Mommy says she is going to be cooking for him. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get a couple scraps too.

Tonight mommy had some leftover chinese food. Of course I had to have some. Mommy ended up giving me a little bit on a desert plate. She says she should really go out and get me one of those baby plates.

Of course I'm just resting now. I'm laying on my catnip blanket on my mommy's computer desk.

Well, I hope all you kitties have the purr-fect weekend.

Wet, sandpapery kisses

Colleen

Meow, Meow,

Today is a good day. First of all I'm happy because Garfield - A Tale of Two Kitties came out. Mommy told me that she and her friend Mark are going to see it on Monday and tell me all about it. If it is good at all, she said that she would buy it for me when it comes out on DVD.

Secondly, mommy came home from Target today with a couple items for me. One of them being a little pink sleevless blouse and the other being a little baby bib that says Little Princess on it. Mommy took pictures of me in both and I will be posting them once she gets them developed.

Thirdly, mommy was just around to cuddle me and play with me. It was alot of fun. At night, mommy made a steak on the grill and she gave me a couple pieces. It was delicious. I'm so lucky to have a mommy that is such a good cook.

Well kitties, I'm off now to lay on my catnip blanket ontop of mommy's desk.

Meow with you all later.

More Fun With Mommy

Meow, Meow, Meow,

I had just the purr-fect day again. It started out with mommy getting out of my room and bringing me into her bedroom where I jumped into bed with her and gave her plenty of kisses. Then mommy woke up and fed me.

Later on, mommy dressed me up in my new little, pink sleevless shirt and took me for a stroller ride over to the vet. No, I didn't have to see the vet, I was just going there to pick up some more cat food like mommy always does every weekend.

After the stroller ride was all over, mommy brought me back home and put me back in my room with my toys and she went shopping. Actually, she was doing some last minute Father's Day shopping for me. I wanted to get one other thing for Grandpa and I wanted to go in with mommy to get my uncle Joe something as well as he will be with the family celebrating Father's Day as well. I bought him a special card just from the cat just like I did for Grandpa. Mommy also picked me up a surprise for my room - a Garfield and Pooky Beanie Baby. Garfield has a pair of pajamas on and is holding Pooky who has a little night hat on.

Of course, mommy made supper again tonight. It was Country Fried Chicken and Mashed Potatoes this time. She gave me a little taste of each and I just loved it.

Right now, I'm just sitting around on mommy's bedroom floor thinking about what I want to do next. I know I need to have mommy help me wrap the Father's Day gifts. She told me not to play with the tissue paper. I always love doing that, but it drives mommy nuts.

All you kitties have a purr-fect night and be nice to your daddies or special men in your lives tomorrow.

Lots of wet, sandpapery kisses to you and your fathers or father figures, both human and feline.

Colleen

Happy Father's Day!

Meow, Meow,

Happy Father's Day to all you daddies out there.

I've had a pretty good day. Mommy let me into her bedroom again this morning and I jumped into her bed and gave her kisses. Then once she got out of bed she let me roam around the house and I just went to my favorite corner in the living room - near the patio door. Nothing too exciting outside today except for alot of rain. Unfortunatley, I couldn't go for a stroller ride. Oh well, hopefully it's nice out tomorrow.

Mommy informed me that my grandpaw and uncle had a purr-fect Father's Day. They liked the gifts and cards that I bought them. For grandpaw I bought him a Barnes and Noble gift card, some peanuts, and a cute frame that is specifically for a cat picture and for my uncle, I bought him a clock and pen set that I had engraved. Mommy said that brunch was delicious too.

I just received an e-mail from my good friend Rocky Ann saying that she bought me a Hello Kitty bowl. That was very cool of her. I'm just so lucky to have such good kitty friends.

Lastly, I would like to thank Catster once again for making my diary one of the Daily Picks. Purr.

Have a purr-fect evening and I'll meow with you all again tomorrow.

Colleen

What A Great Monday!

Meows to all you kitties,

I had a purr-fect day today. It all started out when mommy brought me into her bedroom in the morning and I jumped in bed with her. I gave her plenty of kisses. Then she woke up, fed me and cleaned my litterbox. She also let me roam around the house and I sat near my favorite place in the whole house again.

A little later in the morning, she took me out for a nice stroller ride. It was pretty interesting. We saw a crayfish near one of the ditches. We also noticed a fish or two in our pond where we live. After mommy finished taking me for a stroller ride, she went over to Target and Petco. At Target she bought some candles, a photo album, and a Hello Kitty Palace tent that she noticed was on sale that she just couldn't resist buying for me. She also bought me a sweater, a ball, a mouse, and a patriotic t-shirt at Petco.

Once mommy finished her errands, she came back to spend time with me. She put up my little Hello Kitty Palace in my room. She decided to move my Hello Kitty blanket in there too. Once she had that all asembled, she let me in and I just loved it. It's nice to have my own little fort to play and hide in when I want to.

After she was done with all that, it was time to start preparing for Mark to come over. She started the grill as she was making brats for her and Mark for lunch. Mark came over around noon and he gave me a little cat toy that's a ball that has a button on it that you press and it pops up and there are some little feather things hanging out that you can beat at or chew at. He also gave my mommy and I a picture frame thats a cat and there is room for 3 little pictures. I love my mommy's friend Mark. He is so cool. I had to go over to him right away and give his feet kisses just to thank him for the cool gifts. Also mommy took a picture of him and I sitting on the couch.

Next, all you kitties are probably wondering about how the movie Garfield - A Tale of Two Kitties was. Mommy said it was very good. Basically Garfield and this cat who looks just like him and is royalty get mixed up over in England. I won't give the whole story away incase some of you kitties or your mommies or daddies want to see it, but everything does end well and there is a love story involved in this movie.

My mommy said that after she and Mark were done seeing Garfield, they went to the zoo. They said they saw a baby zebra and a baby monkey there. They even went to see my big relatives. Too bad I couldn't have snuck off with them.

Then mommy made barbequed chicken and corn on the cob for her and Mark. The chicken looked delicious. They said it was. They did have left overs which they froze. Hopefully I will get to try some in the near future. Then they had Apple Pie for desert. By this time, I just had to beg for food. This time mommy gave in and gave me just a little taste of Apple Pie. It was some of the best stuff I've ever had. Mark thought so too.

After mommy and Mark were done eating, Mark left to go back home and I ate my cat food. Now I'm just laying on mommy's computer desk on my catnip blanket telling mommy all this stuff that she needs to tell you kitties about.

Well, there you have it my feline friends, my Monday. Hope all you have a purr-fect night and I'll meow with you later.

Wet, sandpapery kisses,

Colleen

My Purr-fect Tuesday

Meows,

Well, it looks like I had another purr-fect day. Once again mommy brought me into her bedroom in the morning and I gave her kisses. Then she fed me, cleaned my litter box, and let me roam around the house. Again, I went right to the patio door. I sat near there for a little bit and then mommy decided that she wanted to go to the coffee shop near by for breakfast. She brought down my stroller, put some toys in it for me, and put me in. We took a walk over to the coffee shop and mommy got this iced coffee drink called a Sugar Daddy which had carmel and hazelnut flavoring in it and a turkey, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. I really didn't like being in the coffee shop for some reason. I meowed the whole time. It was probably all the blenders going. There were people both as we walked to the coffee shop and in the coffee shop that commented on how cute I was in my stroller and in my little flag t-shirt. Anyway, mommy thought it was probably best that we take the food to go and eat it back at our house which we did. We ate outside and mommy gave me a little piece of turkey which was very good.

When mommy finished eating, I went for a longer stroller ride around the neighborhood. I saw plenty of birds, some dogs, and some fish and a frog in our pond. Later we went back to our place and watched Animal Planet. Mommy was noticing that my claws seemed a little long and we were going to have company a little later. She didn't want me to hurt anyone so she decided to put me back in my stroller with my toys and she walked me over to the vet. At first, I wasn't so sure what to think of the vet and I tried to run around the place when mommy took me out of my stroller. I ran towards some bags of cat litter and mommy caught me. She just explained to me that I wasn't there for any shots or anything unpleasant and that I was just going to have a kitty manicure and peticure. I calmed down and went with the vet tech to the back and she clipped my nails. She said I was very good. When it was all done, I even tried to give the vet tech kisses. We went back to our house and waited for grandma, uncle Joe, and aunt Kay to arrive. They arrived shortly and Kay, Joe, and my grandma took some pictures. Grandma took a picture of mommy, Kay, Joe, and I together and they all took a picture of mommy and I near my new Hello Kitty Palace.

I had a pretty good day. Mommy said that she used up her film so she should be able to get the film developed and I can put some more cute pictures of myself up on Catster. Right now, I'm just hanging out in mommy's bedroom and watching some Child Star Countdown. This is alright, but I think they should have a TV's Top Cats Countdown maybe on Animal Planet or something like that. It's just an idea for one of the cable channels. I know there have been plenty of television cats out there between the cartoon cats and real cats that have been on sitcoms and commercials.

That's all I have for now fellow kittties. I'll meow with you all later.

Wet, sandpapery kisses,

Colleen

Meow, Meow, Meow,

It's Colleen, Queen of The Condo, checking in again. I have had just a purr-fect day except for the weather. It's been raining most of the day and mommy has not had the oppportunity to take me out for a stroller ride.

I basically started my day the same way I always do when mommy has a day off. I jumped into her bed and gave her kisses. Then I had my litter box cleaned and was given my breakfast.

Later on, mommy decided to do some shopping at Target. She bought somethings for herself this time, basically kitchen items and then she bought a couple going away gifts for Mark's foster dogs. They are moving back with their real mom (human) in July and it's in someplace called Virginia. That means mommy won't be able to visit them and give them gifts from me anymore. Of course I had to buy Mark's own dog, Sam something too so he doesn't feel all left out. I'm not going to say what I bought them just incase they would happen to be reading. I know they will all be happy dogs though.

The best part of my day was when mommy came home from Target. There was a package for me from my good friend Rocky Ann in California. I was so happy. This was the first time I ever received anything from anyone. Anyway, I recieved a little Hello Kitty bowl, a Hello Kitty coin purse, and a cute little Hello Kitty note. I'm already enjoying the items in my room. They look purr-fect with my Hello Kitty Palace tent which I will be posting a picture of shortly.

Well kitties, I better be going now. I need to post more cute pictures of myself on here.

Meow, Meow,

Colleen

My Tail of Devotion for Colleen

What can I say about my little Colleen. I just love her to pieces. I would do anything for her. She is my best friend and a member of my family.

Colleen entered my life on March 29, 2004. She was a year old at the time. I had just moved into my own condo and I just knew I wanted to adopt a kitten or cat. I went to the Humane Animal Welfare Society in Waukesha, WI the day after I moved into my condo. I really wanted to get a kitten, but they didn't have any so I thought a very young cat would do. I went in the room where all the cats were housed and this little grey kitty just extended her paw to me through the cage. I just knew she was the one for me. Her name was Colleen and I just decided to stay with it since my family was Irish and Colleen is an Irish name. The next day I went to pick her up at HAWS and when I got her home she just roamed around. She just loved to follow people around and jump up on their laps.

Ever since the day I bought Colleen home I've felt like my life is complete. She is such a great companion. She still loves to follow you around the house and is very affectionate. She just loves to gives kisses. On days that I've had a crappy day at work or maybe am not feeling well, she is always there. She'll just sit there by my side and listen without judgement.

Colleen and I do alot together. We take walks together. She has a little stroller that I push her in. She's been to a Pet Cemetary dedication and she won a trophy for longest whiskers in a contest there. She's even been to a coffee shop.

Colleen also has her own room in my place. It has a little cowboy kitty border at the top of the walls, several cat themed pictures, some scratching toys, catnip toys, and her own Hello Kitty Palace tent. She basically lives like a little queen, but she deserves it.

Colleen means alot to her extended family and friends too. She loves to play with my parents and friends when they come to visit. They always ask about her and how she is doing.

To sum it up Colleen just means the world to me. I couldn't imagine life without her. I truely believe that animals should be treated like royalty.
