Our double wedding

Well, my brofurr Smokey already thanked everyone for all of their help with our wedding but I just want to say again, "Thanks to all who did all of the behind the scenes work and made it pretty easy for us."
Our Meowmie's were stressed beyond belief and probably a big pain to those who knew what they were doing but we all made it through the ceremony with very few hitches. MOL
This has been the happiest day of my life as I became a most willing and happy husband to the beautiful and lovely Clawdia. She and her sisfur, Fire were both lovely brides today as they took the paws of my brofurr, Smokey and myself. We stood side by side as one loving and devoted family and pledged our love to one another and said our solemn vows. It was a lovely outdoor wedding and we were so happy to share it with so many of our special friends from The Rainbow Bridge.
Clawdia was the loveliest bride that I ever saw and it made tears come to my eyes to see her walk down the aisle and give her paw to me. I am one of the luckiest and happiest cats at The Bridge. Of course Smokey will probably tell you the same thing about himself and his lovely bride, Fire. It was one very, very special day and we are so thankful to so many people who helped us through it all.
We love you and are most grateful for your friendship.
Well, my bride and I are off on our honeymoon to Switzerland. We will be back in a couple of weeks and hope to see you all then. Until we get back and get settled into our routines, please enjoy the pawsome slide show on my page. It was a very special gift from two very special people in our lives. Thanks Simmie and Lisa.
One last special thanks Jo Ann, mother of the bride, for allowing me to take the paw of your lovely girl and for giving her to me to share my life. I will cherish her forever and promise to do my very best to always make her happy. She is the love of my life and I will take extra special care of her.
Love and hugs,
Sammy and Clawdia

I just flew in from Hawaii

Well, actually I have had my pilot's license from quite some time now but this is only the second time that I've flown in my new airplane. She is bright blue and such a beaut. It flies like a dream and is quite fast.
The first time that I flew her, it was to take my sisfur, my fiancee' and her sisfur and her fiancee', who is also my brofurr, to Maui for the wedding of Bear and Odie. That was fun and such a lovely time that we had at the wedding.
Yesterday, I flew my sisfur Hazel from Rainbow Bridge down to Hawaii again. This time for a vacation that she and some friends are enjoying. She missed the plane that was taking the group; so I volunteered to fly her down in my plane. It was a heavenly flight and we had a great time. Hazel was quite pleased that I flew her down because she was very upset that she might miss out on this wonderpurr chance for a nice vacation with our earth sisfur, Pickles.
I didn't stay over though because Hazel sent me back home with a special shipment to be delivered to her fiancee' Oingo for his birthday. She sent fresh fruit and a whole plane load of fresh flowers straight from the island. They were certainly beautiful and fragrant; she said that they were called bird of paradise. They certainly didn't look like birds to me, though.
Anyhow, I kept the fruit and flowers cool for the flight and dropped them off for Oingo and now I am going home to get some rest. I love flying but boy, am I tired. That was one longggg flight and this pilot needs to rest his wings. The plane is in the hangar and waiting for our next adventure. It may just be very soon too because I am being married in September and I plan on flying my beautiful wife and myself to a secret destination for our honeymoon.
So remember my dear friends, the next time that you look up in the sky and see that fast little blue airplane, don't forget to wave because it may just be me, Capt. Sammy

I've been tagged by my sweet Clawdia!

I was tagged by my sweet fiancee', Clawdia. It's the 5 game of tag - I list five great things (about me), and then go and tag five other kitties!

1. I was a very laid back and easy going kitty. Never a fighter but always the peace maker.

2. I was entirely black except for about 5 little white hairs on my chest and then when I got older, my whiskers all turned white! Quite distinguished looking, I thought!

3. I always loved to come into the house and snooze on the couch. I blended in quite well with the cover on the couch and Meowmy said that I made a nice decoration.

4. I loved to sit on Meowmy's lap and knead until I would start to drool. I was just soooo happy.

5. I loved our family's first black labrador. She would allow me to brush up against her and even to snuggle with her. We were furry good furriends.

I tag:
1. Tabby
2. Albert
3. Roy Baxter
4. Mipo
5. Sparky

She said YES!!!

This has been such a furry special day for me. I wasn't sure how I would propose but I knew that this was the day. I love my Clawdia so much and I have been thinking about this for quite some time. I put the ring and "the question" on my page; then sent her a pawmail asking her to check out my page. Well, when I didn't hear from her, I was really nervous. Then my sisfur, unknowingly to me, sent her a pawmail too and asked her to check her pawmail from me. I was so nervous that I went to the Pawty at the Rainbow Bridge to speak with my sisfur and furriends there and to ask them for their support because I was so furry worried when I didn't hear from her. They told me that I should not worry because they were all certain that Clawdia loves me so furry much. I know that she loves me truly and that her family had company at their home this weekend, but I just couldn't wait to ask her to be my wife and I was hoping not to have to wait until Monday for an answer.
Purrty soon, she came bursting through the door and threw herself into my arms and said that she would indeed marry me. I am the happiest kitty at The Bridge. Clawdia is so lovely and so loving and I cannot wait to have her as my wife. Thank you sisfur Hazel for matching us up. It was the best thing that you ever could have done for me; for us!

I've been chosen as one of the daily diary picks of the day!

Wow! What an honor. I am so humbled and so honored to have been chosen as one of the daily diaries of the day. I've always been kind of quiet and never really like to mew about myself but this just makes me feel so special. Thanks Catster for choosing me and making my day so furry special. And thanks to my beloved Clawdia and her family for their support and well wishes and to all of my furriends here on Catster too. I love you guys!!

My special lady

I have a furry special lady in my life; so I have added a special symbol just in honor of her. As you can guess, her name is Clawdia and she is so furry beautiful. She is just the opposite of me as I am entirely black in color and she is entirely white. They do say that opposites attract and that is definitely the case with us. I hope that you like the pink hearts in honor of you, my sweet Clawdia. You are in my heart, always!

I've been tagged!

Woo Hoo! This sounds like fun.
I've been tagged by Clawdia, a furry special lady that I've met at the Bridge. She & I are going stepping out this weekend. She makes my whiskers twitch because she is so furry purrty and sweet!

Here are the rules:
Each kitty when tagged, makes a diary entry on their page and lists 7 things about themselves. Below their diary entry, they list 7 names of furriends that they are going to tag. Then those 7 furriends, post a diary entry on their pages and name 7 facts about themselves. Then they list 7 more kitties to play tag.

Here it is:
1. I was a furry laid back kitty and quite loveable. Never wanted to fight but I could settle a disagreement with the other kitties just by giving them "the look". Then I would turn my back and walk away and they knew to leave it at that!
2. I was an outside cat most of my life but we lived in a large enclosed pen so that we were always safe. We got to come outside to play whenever our human family was outside; then always went back in our pen if they were going to be gone or at night time.
3. I loved to follow Meowmie and the dog back through the field behind our house when they would go on walks.
4. I would sneak in the house whenever I could get a chance and snooze away the afternoon on the couch.
5. I didn't like Meowmy's chickens! Whenever I would be outside with her, the dumb ole chickens would chase me!
6. When I was a kitten, my sibs and I helped Meowmie with her selling some stuff in the garage. We would curl up on the tables of things and surprise anyone that was browsing when we would move and scare them. (What fun!) Many people asked if we were for sale but Meowmy said "No way!"
7. My fur was a beautiful, silky, pure black with only a few tiny white hairs on my chest that could only be seen if my fur was brushed the wrong way. When I got older, my whiskers turned white. The only way that Meowmy & Dad could see me after dark was when they could see my white whiskers!

Whew, that was fun! (Ahh, memories)
So now I choose 7 more kitties to play tag:
1. Stosh
2. Mickey (In Memory)
3. Zoey
4. Hazel (Not my sis, but another Hazel that looks like her)
5. Purrcival
6. Smokey (not my brofurr, but another Smokey)
7. Baby

My first diary entry

Well, I never was much for words. Always kind of a quiet kitty and pretty laid back. Since I've crossed the Rainbow Bridge it has been kind of lonely here until just recently and I couldn't believe my eyes! There was my old friend Smokey and his little tag along pest, Hazel. Boy, it was good to see them and I finally realized just how lonely I had been. So I've been trying to get out more and meet new friends.
It has been so much fun to spend time with Smokey and Hazel and they have introduced me to new friends: Lacey and her adopted kit Jimmy and Lacey's brother Cagney. Such very, very nice friends.
I see that Smokey is off for a nice, long nap; so I think that I will join him soon since we are going to some big pawty this evening. That was Hazel's idea but it sounds as though it will be fun.
Hazel has been telling us about her fly down to our earthly home. She went during the Christmas vacation time and told us what a wonderful time it was. So Smokey & I are thinking of joining her next time; especially since we both have our beautiful new wings now. It sure would be good to visit home again. I sure miss everybody but I am doing just fine here and hope that Meowmie and Dad know that I am happy and healthy again.
Well, off for that nap now. Gotta be well rested and look my best to meet all of these new friends and to celebrate a New Year.
