Well, as you can see, I have finally and officially become a full fledged house cat.
Meowmie was trying to get some good pictures of my extra big feet and all my toesies but I was very careful to not allow that. But as you can see, I have been allowed to make myself comfy on Meowmie and Dad's bed. I also like to stretch out on the floor next to Meowmie's chair when she is pounding on that keyboard that goes with the thing she calls a computer.
I understand that my adopted sis, Hazel, used to do that and so I am filling in for her in her old spot. I am sorry that she can no longer be here to accompany Meowmie but I am doing my best to see that life goes on as usual. I wouldn't want my humans who are so kindly sharing the house with me to think that I am not doing my part to keep everyone under my careful observation.
Ahhh, this is the life. No more cold nights out in the garage, although my kitty nest was quite cozy but it is much warmer inside and if I feel a little chilly, I can even go down in the basement and soak up some extra heat next to the wood furnace.
Dad likes to scratch my head and talk to me and that makes me purr. Meowmie tries to pay lots of attention to me but I know that she is still missing her little Hazel. In the meantime, I am quite happy to just be nearby in case she needs me. I know that Hazel would want me to watch over her; so I am doing my best.
I will keep everfurry one updated on my latest great adventures from the "inside". MOL!!
