We would just like to take a moment to make one final diary entry to thank everyone so very much for all of the gifts, love, hugs and friendships. We have truly enjoyed our years on Catster and will miss it very much. We joined Catster at what became a very sad time in Meowmy's life. She had just made pages for her kitties and was learning her way around Catster but shortly after doing so, she lost not one but two of her fur babies within a few months of one another. The first was our beloved Hazel and before she was even two years old. Meowmy was heartbroken and couldn't stop crying. We received an invite to join Rainbow Bridge Kitties and that was the start of healing her heart and making many wonderful and lasting friendships. Had it not been for those loving and compassionate new friends, we might not have continued to stay on Catster as Meowmy was going to delete our pages because it just hurt too much to look at Hazel's page; then we lost Smokey too and that was just too much! But our new friends convinced us to not delete those pages and to join in some of the groups and celebrate our kitties' lives. Catster was a great lifeline and connection between loving and understanding and compassionate friends. So we will miss those ties and those times spent together; loving and supporting one another and healing hearts together and then just plain having fun as our kitties became more active in the groups and happily played with one another. It is a very sad ending to such a wonderful site that was built just for kitties and their families. But it has been on the decline for a few years now and we have not been as active as we once were. We have not come to play as often as we used to and we have not kept up with all of the gift giving and receiving and the thank yous. And we are sorry for that.
So we just want to take the time now to say "Thank you"!!! We love and value all of our friends (old and new) so very much. We've enjoyed the fun times and playing some fun games in the groups that we are in. We've traveled the world with friends in a couple of our groups and have had a pawtastic time and even learned some fun facts about some of our destinations. We've learned some things about picture making and we've had many wonderful and talented friends who have made us such fantastic and fun pictures for our pages and who have helped us to learn how to make our pages more appealing and beautipurr. We appreciate each and every gift and message that was sent to us (even if we were lax in responding). And most of all we are so thankful for the love, support and lasting friendships that we have developed over the years. It is with a heavy heart that we take our departure and say our goodbyes but Catster has left us no other choice. So with all that said, we want to send you all love, hugs, headbonks, and whisker kisses and say, "Thank you, thank you, thank you" for everything!

I just want to take a moment to thank my dearest friends for all of the gifties, pictures and messages that were enclosed and left to decorate my Catster page. Yep, this is my 2nd birthday celebration since we had the wrong date on my bio. After a wellness check-up at the V.E.T. we discovered my actual birth date. So I've had a pawsome 13th year. Well, after all, when one turns into "an old furt" they deserve two celebrations, right? MOL
I also received wonderful gifties, messages and pictures from friends wishing me a happy month as I was chosen Furt of the Month in our Old Furts group. This has been such a honor and such a great month for me.
Thank you dearest friends for thinking of me and taking the time to send the zealies and best wishes. *Manly hugs* to one and all.

Well, this is just a bit embarrassing but I am going to have Meowmy change the birth date on my page. I just had my yearly wellness check at the vet on Wednesday and they looked up my records. It appears that I was born sometime in July! Yep, so Meowmy says that since I am fire cracker that July seems fitting. So, I will be 13 in July. I am embarrassed that I had the wrong birth date listed on my page but Meowmy just couldn't remember when she got me; now we know for sure. I was adopted along with my brother and had my first kitten shots in August; so the vet guesses that I was born in July; sounds good to me.
I also want to thank our many friends who sent gifties in honor of Mother's Day for all of our pages. We have been very lax and way behind in thanking everyone; so I want to be sure to do that now. You all know who you are and we love each and every one of you. Thank you for thinking of us. We hope that everyone and their Mommie's had a great day and got to spend lots of quality time together.
And last but not least, I want to thank everyone who has sent their concatulations, comments and gifts to me today also, for being chosen DDP. And thank you so much, Jameson for the mighty fine picture that you made for me. It looks good on my page and I apurrciate it so much. Head bonks and whisker rubs to all. Mwah *blows kisses and takes a bow*

I have been tagged by my good friend Percy! To play tag, you need to copy my diary and then change the answers, then tag 5 more friends!
Five Things I Like About Spring:
1. Warmer sunshine
2. I can follow Meowmy outside and roll around in the grass
3. Sitting on the deck in the sunshine with my best friend, Java. (our dog)
4. Watching the robins hopping around in the yard
5. Smelling the flowers

Subject: Tag! Sent: Fri Aug 24
Tag! You're It, just copy and paste in your diary the questions below with your answers, then tag 5 friends. have fun!
"Who are you really?"
1) Tell me your funny Christmas story.
Hmmmm, can't really think of anything too exciting since I was an outside kitty during my younger years and didn't get to enjoy any Christmases inside until I was a little older. So no tree climbing incidents or anything but I do love to sleep on the tree skirt underneath the tree when the lights are turned on. We got a nice, new; really big tree for this year so there might even be room for ole Pickles too! Nah!!!
2) Where's your favorite hiding place when playing hide and go seek?
Oh, I have all kinds of hiding places. I really like to hide out at the top of the cat tree but when company comes I usually head for the basement and my hiding place down there is so secret that no one; not even Meowmy can find me!
3) What did you dream of being as a young kit?
A big ferocious jungle cat, of course. Isn't that every kitty's dream?
4) What's your favorite hobby? Anything goes.
My favorite hobbies are eating, sleeping and eating. Did I mention that I like to eat? I also like to go outside occasionally and get a sniff of fresh air and then take an afternoon nap in the garage on top of the car.
5) Whats your one "bad habit" that you love and your Mom hates?
Sharpening my nails on the carpet and the furniture! *Blush*
6) If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?
Oh, to the zoo, for sure. I would love to see the big cats and get some tips from them on how to be more intimidating!
7) What is your guilty pleasure? Food, skirts and suits or cars? What?
Gee, that's a tough one but I guess that it would have to be FOOD!!!!!
8) What is your favorite make believe monster? And yes girls, unicorns and fairies are included. Post a pic of this mysterious beast.
Oh, that sucky monster that Meowmy runs across the carpets! I don't scare easily but I head to my best hiding spot when she pulls that thing out. It really isn't a make believe monster but it is a REAL one! Yikes!
9) What is the one dreaded thing you have to do at home? Babysitting, taking baths, entertaining guests....what is your dread?
Taking a bath definitely! No one has ever dared to get "The Tuff Man" wet! I just flex my muscles and spread my big ole mitten paws and no one gives bath time another consideration! I must admit that I don't care a lot for babysitting either. When the grand kids come, I vamoose!
10) I’m not so sure if Zach and Zoe are going to have coed ships this year or not, but in any case, which ship would you want to be on: Zach’s, or Zoe’s?
Note: to be honest, I'm not sure what that is...it may be a girl versus guy thing
Hmmm, I'm not sure what this is either but I will pick Zach! Sounds like a he-cat kind of name!
I will tag Moose, Tinkerbelle, Bugsy, Blossom, Spice E. and My Sweet Lady. I know that is more than "5" but it is so hard to choose!

Oh my goodness, what a pawtabulous day I had yesterday. It was my birthday and what fun I had. Yes, I am a day late in getting my thank-yous but that is "my secretary's" fault (she is soooo slow sometimes) and I was having so much fun partying that I just didn't have time yesterday. So today, I want to thank each and every one of my dear friends for their kindness, the pressies and messages and for making my birthday so special.
I got a wonderful sushi with a nice message inside from friends Milo, Mallee, Sam, Smokey Joe, Timmy 'n Zig. Thank you dear ones, I love food, as you know and the sushi was really yummy.
Spirit sent a party hat and a sweet message inside. Thank you sweetness.
I received a Blue Ribbon and birthday greetings from Big Harry-Dreamboat #57, Patches, Angel Abigail, Zack and the rest of their family. That was so sweet and thoughtful. I will hang the blue ribbon above my cat tree. Boy, won't Pickles be jealous? MOL
I also received another Sushi from my dear friend Norman and his family. Norman said that he hoped that I got a nice chicken dinner for my birthday. No such lucky, buddy, but Meowmy does allow me to go into the bathroom and look at the young peeps that she has in a tub inside the bathtub. Little does she know that I am not only observing but I am also drooling! *smacks lips* (Just waitin' for the skinny little legs to plump up a bit)!!
I got a nice shrimpie from Lucy, Logan (in loving memory), Taylor (in loving memory) and Sammy (in loving memory). Boy, do these friends know that I like to eat, or what? Thank you dear ones, I love shrimpies!
Then there was a nice hunk of cheese from my furry bestest buddies in Wisconsin with a funny note inside. I just bet that cheese was Wisconsin cheese! Thanks Moose, Hobo, Marley and Sailor. (Thanks for all the fun at the party and the lovely cake that Hobo baked)
I also received a cuppie cake from my buddy Wilson. And do you know what? We had a party in one of our groups yesterday and Wilson brought along jet paks for all of us. Boy, talk about flyin' high! We had so much fun. Thanks Wilson J. Scooter. What a fun time.
Macy was at the party too and brought along kites for us to fly. I never saw such pretty, fancy kites. What fun. Macy sent a party hat and a birthday greeting inside. Thanks Macy for the gift and the wagon ride with Butterfly and the trip to the DQ. Glad that Butterfly had fun too!
I also received a purrty blue bird with a greeting inside from Smiley Cassanova. Thanks Smiley, I love birds; especially blue ones!
And I would like to thank Catster too for the birthday cake and the birthday wishes too.
Whew! That's a lot of thank yous to write and I am still tired from partying yesterday. I think that I'll go rest my little paws for awhile and enjoy my gifties and that purrty blue ribbon hanging above my cat tree. *glares at Pickles and grins* Thanks to all for making my birthday such a fun and special day.
