Arrival Story:
At the end of April this year, my beloved Lilac Point Siamese MonkeyBoy died suddenly. He was only two years old. Everyday we played and played. My house was so lonely with him suddenly gone that I went to a rescue shelter in my neighborhood called The House of Mews. There were two one year old tabby kittens, a brother and sister, that I immediately fell for. Their fact sheet insisted that they both wanted to be adopted together. Because I will no longer allow a cat of mine to go outside (MonkeyBoy had his own window open so he could come and go when he wanted), I decided it would be best to have two cats so they would have company when I am at work.

Bio:
BoyCat was originally named Batman at the House of Mews, but since he's more of a boy than a man and more of a cat than a bat, I changed it. He responds to it beautifully. Since living with me now for a month, he has stopped fleeing everytime I come around and curls up on my desk when I'm at the computer. He still isn't comfortable having me pick him up. He never, ever has meowed in my presence.
