Ice Cream Tag Game
I was tagged by my friend Critter to say what kind of ice cream I look like and then tag five other friends and ask them to do the same.
Well now, I guess that I would have to say that I look most like Oreo ice cream with a tad of orange sherbert mixed in. *giggles*
MMMM, I always liked ice cream but my brofurr Smokey would go nuts over it. Whenever Meowmy or Dad had a dish of ice cream, he would forcefully push his way onto their lap and grab the edge of the bowl with both paws and he had one strong grip! He almost knocked the ice cream dish on the floor numerous times and my pawrents had to keep an extra tight hold on their ice cream bowls when Smokey was around. MOL
Well, let's see. I have to tag five more friends to play this game.
I will tag:
Blossom
Reanan
Butterscotch
Mojo
Hannah
Oingo
(I know that is 6, but I just couldn't stop myself) MOL!

Most of you are familiar with the poem entitled The Rainbow Bridge. Some of you are not; so I am going to post this poem and another here in my diary for all to view. Hopefully they will be of some comfort to those pawrents who have had their beloved pets preceed them in going ahead and waiting for them at The Bridge. These poems have been a great comfort to my Meowmy and have brought her peace of mind since my passing on; she knows that I wait for her at The Rainbow Bridge.
"On the Other Side of the Bridge"
As I flew over the Rainbow Bridge my heart was heavy to be leaving,
Leaving behind my beloved family and I swallowed a sob as I heard them grieving
I kept looking back to keep them in view, trying not to look ahead,
When suddenly my wings spread wide and strong, no longer was I filled with dread.
I looked around as I flew so high, seeing a wondrous place,
Birds were soaring high and free with grandeur and heavenly grace.
The sky is so blue and grass is so green with seeds to stun the mind,
And here I'm told I can eat all I want, without worry as to their kind.
Oh, Mommy, there are flowers and brooks, meadows and trees,
Whose branches gives shelter and whose blossoms feed bees.
And, Mommy, dear Mommy, you know how I tried,
To get well for you and how hard you cried.
On this side of the Bridge there is not one sick pet,
Because, mommy, I'm told your prayers were met.
And God lifted me up and helped me to fly,
Over the Bridge and soar to the sky.
He said I should wait here, that one day I'd see,
My Mommy, come running to give scritches to me.
I'll wait for you, Mommy. I'll watch for your face,
And forever we'll share this wonderful place.
"Rainbow Bridge"
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge, there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place. There is always food and water, and warm Spring weather. Those old and frail animals are young again. Those who have been maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other. But there is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on earth. So, each day they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops playing and looks up. The nose twitches, the ears are up, the eyes are staring, and this one suddenly runs from the group. You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet. It is then that you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be seperated.

Tee Hee! I know a little secret. Shhh, don't tell anyone Ok?
Well, I guess that "the cat is already out of the bag anyhow", but I just have to share some exciting news.
You see, I have been purring furrever that my sweet husband Oingo and I would see the day that his twin brother, Boingo, found his soul mate.
Well, finally; after all this time, Boingo is dating a furry wonderful girl. Many of you might know her; her name is Tabby. You can read about their first date and the fun; anonymous zealies that Boingo was sending to Tabby in their diaries. She couldn't figure out at first who was sending them but I think that she was hoping that they were from Boingo. She seemed quite relieved and happy to know that they were from him when he finally admitted it.
You know Boingo was really nervous at first because he knew that Tabby was a married lady. But he was such a gentleman and did not want to be anything more than friends if she was not available.
I think that he was quite relieved and happy to hear that Tabby is a single girl again.
So Boingo finally got the nerve to ask Tabby on a first date. They had a fun and romantic picnic together and I think that they really like each other. Ooh! *claps paws in excitement*
Thinks back to not so long ago:
I remember when Oingo proposed to me on a most beautiful day at a very special picnic that he had made for us. Oh it was so romantic but he was so nervous. *Giggles* I will never forget how he seemed so distracted and uneasy. He was so relieved when I said "yes" that it was most laughable. It didn't take him long to dig into all of that food as soon as his nerves had settled. I think that he must not have eaten for a week!!
I am sure that Boingo had those same nervous feelings when he asked Tabby to join him for a picnic too. (These California boys must really like picnics) ;)
But I hear that they had a wonderful time and that Boingo was much more relaxed once he knew that Tabby was "interested". Oh I do so hope that things work out for them. They both are such nice kitties and deserve their share of happiness and having someone to share their lives with.
I was teasing Oingo yesterday and I said that he and his twin brother must like Ohio girls. You see, Tabby and I are both from Ohio. Isn't that neat?
Oingo says that us Ohio girls are a difficult catch but that we are definitely worth it. *Blushes and giggles*
Anyhow, I am just so excited for sweet Tabby and my handsome brother-in-law Boingo. I think that they make a wonderful couple and I hope that they will continue to have fun and romance. I can only wish that they have as much happiness together as Oingo and I have with one another.
Tabby, in case you read this, here's a little secret that I have to share with you. Those California boys are quite the romantics and quite the jokesters too! ( I am sure that you are finding that out already)
Pssst! Wouldn't it be something if we would end up being related? *wink wink*
I hope that the two of you don't mind me writing about you in my diary but I am just so excited and happy for both of you.
Love and hugs and best wishes,
Hazel
