All three of us sisters had our very first baths! Even though we are not used to ever having a bath, we always were curious and we keep our momma and daddy company in the bathroom because we always wondered what it would be like to get a "bathie" as mom calls them. Our sister Sasha has a skin allergy so mom decided to bath her first to see and check if we had any fleas that were adding to the problem. Well, she didn't find one flea on any of us! Not only did it rid us quicker of our winter coats, boy did we ever feel wonderful and frisky and happy after our bathies!! We didn't struggle the whole time because we trust our mommy that she would never do anything to harm us anyhow and the warm water felt wonderful. We never go outside so we are not dirty but it did still make us feel cleaner than we ever have it our whole lives and that just makes us want to kick up our heels and run through the house and eat our tuna treats for being good!

Baby's big bum

Because I am so big and my bum is so big, when I go potty, it is not unusual for my big bum to hang over plopping the poopy over the side of the litter pan. My mum keeps a plastic thingy under the litter pan in case that happens so the rug don't get soiled. What I don't like and it is very embarrassing, when my mum catches me going poopy and my bum is hanging over the side, she calls out for her grandkids come and watch her be the champion kitty poopie catcher! She puts the pooper scooper under my bum and catches my poopie when I go over the side! She tells the grandkids to always remember that for a funny memory when they grow up that their grandma was a champion kitty poopie catcher! I am so embarrassed and humiliated!

Baby's blubber

Baby is so cute and warm and cuddly. Her tummy drapes down over her back feet in that sitting position that reminds us of Jabba the Hut of Star Wars. I tell her that she is blubberlicious and I call her "her highness blubberiness". She runs and hides when anybody different besides dad and I cme in the house. It is hilarious to see her tummy sway back and forth under her when she moves quickley away. She is so shy. Her double coat is so thick that every day since the warm weather is here, I have to comb her so she dont' get so many furballs. She loves to play that game, "don't touch my bum!", when I use Inspector Clouso's accent from the Pink Panther, "don't touch my beeeumm". She has a stump on her rear end instead of a full tail. It is a game for me to try to touch or grab it and say, 'don't touch my beeeum" while she turns to grab my hand with her mouth and give me a light bite. She knows what "cheekies" means also. When I say, "cheekies", she knows I am going to scratch and rub her cheeks which she absolutely loves. She is the biggest cat we have ever had while her two sisters are only half her size. She walks very dainty despite her size, like she is tip toeing through the tulips.

Sasha sounds off

Sasha loves to come out in the work-out room with me when I exericise on my stairstepper, healthrider and sit up bench. Sasha will actually cry if the door is closed for somebody to come and let her in with me. Sometimes I forget to leave the door opened so she don't feel that I am closing her out. She yowls when she crys like she is being abandoned or abused! While I am on the stairstepper, she will jump up on the sit-up bench or healthrider seat directly alongside me and go into her unusual vocal and physical antics. Yowling excitedly at the top of her voice, while tilting her head to the side as if in acknowledgement and recognization that she wants to work out too! Even though she has spina bifida, she lets me know that she is well capable of lifting her heels and shaking a leg! Her mouth is cocked open so widely when she meows at me, I am still wondering what it is that she is trying to communicate to me while I am working out. For some reason maybe she thinks it is odd that I am doing all the leg movement that gets me no-where! She tries to roll over in excitement on the health rider seat and ends up loosing her balance and falling off it altogether but just jumps up again and again to express whatever it is that gets her so excited to see me exercise. There are days that she is totally quiet and she will just lay on top of the sit up bench and say very little and just be there for companionship, just to be with me. If I have to leave suddenly for a visit to the bathroom, she will follow me, not taking an eye off me and come back with me again and resume the antics all over again and again. Just as I figured out finally what Melah was trying to tell me at he front door, I think I will one of these days, figure out what it is that Sasha is trying to tell me. Maybe she is just tickled pink and just happy out of her little mind!

All three of them have their own unique different personalities. Baby is 25 pound, full-figured and loves food so much that we do have to watch her diet and take away the food dish at times. Instead of meowing, she has this teeny high-pitched squeak that she asks you for food, so politely that it is very hard to say "No" to her when she asks. She walks in circles chirping and squeaking. Baby loves to sit up on the recliner between her daddy's knees and she knows that if he is eating something that he will share with her. She loves having her cheekies rubbed and scratched. When I say, "Cheekies, Cheekies!" she knows what she is in for. Her belly draps down over her back feet when she sits in a particular postion, it looks so darn funny and cute. My youngest daughter nicknamed her Balooga baby after a whale. She is very protective and even though she is an indoor cat, she has rushed out of the front door and chased off a dog before. She knows what the name "Snarf" is still. My son and daughter in law used to lived across the road from us and they had a seven toed kitty that they named Snarf. He would come across the road and visit Baby, Sasha and Sweetpea though the front screen window where they would be sitting and keeping an eye out. They would fight and hiss and pound on the screen at one another. It was funny. We thought that they must have truly liked one another and this was all an act. Even though Snarf has been gone for three years, she still knows his name and if I call out , "Snarf!" very loud, she will come running and jump up at the window and look for her lost love.
