tom is recovering and has eaten well.
he also potty-ed and is purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring so loud when DADDY AND I WALKED IN
he is so Happy ,,,,he knowssssssssssss.
He is so smart................
He did not want to go to the Rainbow Bridge he kept reaching threw the bars slamming his head in to our hands.and purrrring so loud.
the vet said.he doesn't want to go.i seen it many times when their ready and he is telling you he is Not Ready..Even at 19
well angels gave him a chance ..and look at him healing better than they thought ......
He is drugged heavily and staggers about a lot . But under the situation that is understandable.
his hip was dislocated not broken.thank goodness they popped it back in....
The lower part of his leg was cut badly and had a lot infection in it that had spread .so on Clavamox 2 x days
his Lower foot was broken.and is fixed now.
he has a cone on for a dog and that's because we wanted to save $$ and use his sister Trixie cone but i don't think that it is working so i am going to have to get him a soft collar......
might not be able to do that right now.
but if anyone has a used one they won't miss he weighs 16 lbs.just throw me pawmail.
his labs look great for an old dude.he had some blood in his tummy but seems that's mostly bruising....nothing is internally bleeding..
He is indeed a miracle cat.
There is something so powerfully connected between Tomcat and the universe.......
Who knows maybe he will save one of us in some extraordinary unexplainable way...........

*** UPDATE *******
This is the most insane situation i have ever in my life gone threw
Tomcat instead of being put asleep is now in surgery........what the heck is happening !!!
how did this happen,
i am losing my mind.. I sent Tom to go with daddy Wadeto the vets to let Tom go to the rainbow bridge.
but he stopped off animal control first, guess they could not put him down without a release from the vet. so it was back to the vet.
that is where Wade was in tears wanting to just put Tom in peace.
While waiting for the Dr. again a bunch of ppl over heard wade and his tears .
and jumped in with .$$$$$ that is required to save him in the matter Tom needs
that we could not raise ever raise by our selves
while hubby was in the RM waiting with the DR. total Strangers were giving checks at the counter with the receptionist.when DR. came out rm with wade he was expecting to put Tom Down instead he was handed all these checks from total strangers . he was shocked and went in to tell Wade
that he was going to be doing labs on Tom and Pre -opting him to surgery.
Which is where my kitty is right now instead of heaven ,,,, he is in surgery
I'm numb.,,,,,to Many Emotions these past few days............
I prepared my self to save him , but my hopes were dashed ,.
then we Accepted to let him go peacefully yet every where we turned there was stumbling blocks along the road.
And Now i am wondering if he will make it threw Surgery, how does Happen
How does this cat keep Surviving .I don't know.but there is obviously a reason why.............
Wade is Beside him self happy .i'm in otter Shock and that is where we stand...

ONE YEAR SOME YRS BACK:
I made a memory for thanksgivings to follow for years to come, you see mom and dad put big ole tom turkey in the sink to thaw over night ,he was a big boy 20lbs, so while everyone was sound asleep with vision of pumpkin pie and turkey meat,
I went to work
now I hopped up on that there counter and I tugged and pulled and well I worked all night long, what did I do ,,,well let me share with you the next mourning.
dad and mom woke up went in kitchen made coffee half asleep sat down drank a cup or 2 and then decided it was time to get the lovely birdie going in the oven, well you would have died to see the look on dads face *it was priceless*
he was standing at the kitchen sink with glass eyes I tell ya, dad, he scratched his head he scratched his butt he stared in space then turned to ask mom the dumbest question ever,,
momma where is the turkey did you forget to thaw it and put it in the sink with water last night,???????
my momma turned said no silly remember we did it together , then It was historical they were both standing there at that sink with glass eyes scratching there heads, scratching their butts, then they turned and they at each other confused as all get out,. Then they looked around under the tables behind the cabinet , the bathrooms the bedroom they looked high they looked low they looked ever where tee hee. then content that they would never find the turkey I went back to have a lil more sweet birdie breast ,in quiet, hidden.
well I guess I got a lil excited and started making growling sounds, from behind the recliner chair,
they turned and look at each other with this rage look in there glass eyes and they ran to the chair , and looked down and there I was completely on top of that 11 lb turkey ,,yeah it was 20 to start but I was eaten all nite long.
you see I tugged and tugged and tugged some more until I go that big ole turkey out of the sink I even got a bath when all the water from the cavity poured all over me,
then I dragged that big ole birdie thru the kitchen and I hid that turkey behind the chair,
well after a really scary chase ,yup I was booted out side ,but that’s ok I was full anyways, burp frrrrrt..
momma and daddy went from rage to hysteria ,laughing and chocking so hard I thought they would pass out for good,
they would have done anything to see me in action they said,
so it was a different thanksgiving ,the family went to dennys restaurant and well I spent the next few days out side,,
not to worry though I am back in and I am to old to pick up a mouse let alone a twenty lb bird full of water soaking and thawing in the kitchen sink, but what a thanksgiving
I am blessed to be alive!!!!!! litterly,,
