Arrival Story:
I had seen Charlie around the neighborhood for a couple of years, but he would never let me get to close. then last fall, for some reason, he decided he could trust me and began to demand that I pet him. He was just going to be an outside cat(I already had way too many in the house), but he kept coming down with upper repiratory problems. After a couple trips to the vet and cold weather setting in, I decided he needed to be indoors.
Bio:
Charlie has obviously been someone's indoor cat. I didn't have to show him a litter box. He sought one out. How he ended up outdoors on the streets I have no idea. He is definitely a lover. He had a bit of a tough time with a couple of my other cats, but they have made their peace.
Today Charlie flew up to the Rainbow Bridge(7-09-09). I really don't know how old he was. He was an adult cat when he found his way to me. He lived with my family indoors for the last 5 or 6 years of his life after being a street cat. He had grown very old over the past year or so and truly began to resemble Bill the Cat of Bloom County. He even made the aaaaack sound. However, he ate well and got around fine. He just looked terrible. He visited the doctor just last week and I was told to just let him keep on keepin' on as he was still eating and jumping on the counter. Yesterday morning he ate fine. By the time I got home from work he was very week, had trouble walking and would fall easily. I was not sure he would make it through the night, but he did. I took him to the doctor this morning to be helped across the bridge. My swet boy was just barely there. But now he is whole and healthy and running at the bridge and cadging chicken from anyone he can. Bless you, my sweet Charlie. One day I will see you again.

1. My very best friend on Catster is Princess Pooter. I have a little crush on her, but her heart belongs to another so I am happy to be her friend.
2. I was meant to be an outside kitty living on mom's porch, but i kept getting colds so I got to come inside.
