Sun Sign: Badges: Birthday: October 10th 1993
 Coloration: Blue Smoke

Likes: Sleeping

Pet-Peeves: Hazel, our newest addition

Favorite Toy: Hazel. They love to wrestle

Favorite Nap Spot: On the loveseat or in the basement window

Favorite Food: Kitten chow

Skills: He is very good at using his paw to open doors. He also had very good computer skills. He could walk across the keyboard and change the whole desktop with one click of the paw.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story: He was found sitting in the window of a local school building where he had been watching the kids inside their classrooms all day. It was the last day of school before Christmas break. When school was out, no one claimed him and he was just wandering around; all alone. He was picked up and brought to us (wearing a red Christmas bow around his neck) and we have had him ever since.

Bio: Smokey is a loving cat but does not warm up to strangers. When we have visitors he heads for the basement and isn't seen again until the "newcomers" leave. He loves to sneak into the bedroom and sleep next me. He snuggles up as close as he can and keeps me warm. He was very jealous of our new kitty, Hazel, until he learned that she is kind of fun to play with; now they wrestle and play all of the time. Smokey had been good friends with our dog, Ebony, until we had to have her put to sleep and Smokey was very lonely without her. Now he has Hazel and they are pretty good buddies. If he gets tired of her, he heads for the basement and naps for the rest of the day.

I want to take a moment to wish everyone a wonderful and blessed Easter. And to also say thank you to dear friends who have sent me such beautiful Easter eggs to decorate my page.
To: Foggy, Louie, William and Lily Babez and Mama Rachael.
Thanks to Tate for the Easter wishes, hugs and cuppycake kisses.
And thank you to Redford, Cooper, Tunda, Many Toes and their family for the the cute Easter basket filled with bunnies and a kitty.
I hope that all of my friends have had a very special, peaceful and loving day today. We have much to be thankful for and much to anticipate.

Wow! I am truly amazed and overcome with gratitude for all of my fine friends who have remembered me on my birthday.
Tate, thank you for the cuppycakes and well wishes. They were pawsome, dood and I had a catweiser for you too, my friend. Your sisfur had a blast at the pawty but she left to go home in good time so that you wouldn't worry about her.
Bugsy, Wanda (Norman & family), and Smiley Cassanova. Thank you all for the bright orange pumpkins and the birthday wishes. (Norman, I had some chicken at the pawty and thought of you). Could you smell the aroma from up here at The Bridge? It was mighty tasty. I appurrciate the pumpkins and will keep them for some nice decorations for Halloween. Thank you all for remembering me.
Smokey Joe, thank you for the party hat. (It was quite the hit at the party; everyone wanted one) and you were right about that cake with Raincloud's cream cheese frosting. It truly is 'da bomb. Thank you so much.
Spice E., Patches (Our Sweet Angel) and Phantom. Thank you for the big turkey leg. It sure hit the spot. And thanks for the birthday wishes. Please tell your family that Patches really enjoyed the party too. And please let everyone at the BC and your family know that she is doing well. They all loved her and miss her so much now but she is sharing the fun and passing around her sweetness here at The Bridge and we all love and enjoy her so much. We all get a kick of watching down and seeing Phantom and Spice E. play and "yes" even whacky paw one another at times. She is quite the gal and Patches says that she made a good choice in choosing her for Phantom's new sisfur.
And Mugsy, Taffy (Forever Loved), thank you for the pretty acorn and the well wishes. Taffy does truly make a luscious angel cake with cream cheese frosting. It sure didn't last long once the pawty began. If all of us cats at The Bridge do one thing, it is pawty and we all love to eat. Good thing that we had plenty of cake to go around. What a party it was!
Thank you all for your kindnesses, your nice messages and the great gifts. I truly had a great birthday even though I couldn't share it with my family. But they know that I am happy here and have lots of wonderful friends. What more could a cat want? And I know that we will all meet again some day; so that is the greatest gift of all.
Love, hugs and whisker rubs to each and every one of you and thanks for remembering me on this special occasion.

My dear and sweetest furriends. I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone who sent pressies and messages to wish me a happy birthday today. Although I would prefer to still be at home with my family, I have become quite well adjusted here at The Bridge and life is pretty amazing here too.
I will be celebrating my special day with my dear wife, Fire, and our angel family memebers along with lots of special friends who I've met here. There will be lots of cake, ice cream, good food and refreshments.
Thank you all for thinking of me and my family on this day. Special thanks to Bugsy, Smokey Joe Angel Dreamboat #9, Aryeh, Tate and the family of Patches, Phantom and Spice E for the special gifts and goodies. Hugs and whisker rubs to all. I will sprinkle some special angel dust on you and your families to show my appreciation. (Smokey)
