Oliver just showed up one day. He was very friendly and loved to be petted or to sit on a lap. I had him neutered and then gave him to my new neighbor who really liked him. However, I guess Ollie had chosen where he wished to be. He would not stay inside for myneighbor. So, with winter approaching, he came into my house and has been here for about 2 1/2 years now.
Bio:
I try to find names that fit a cat's personality. With Oliver, it was always "is there more food?" That reminded me so much of the scene in the movie Oliver where the little lad walks up and says, "Please, sir, may I have some more?"
Oliver is extremely loving and very sweet. When he purrs, he sounds just like a pigeon cooing. This is because he has asthma. Generally it does not bother him too much, but occasionally we have to make a trip to the doctor for a shot.

I was already a grown cat when i showed up on my mom's porch so my age is a best guess. She named me Oliver because when it came to food, I always wanted more.
2. Mom already had a bunch of cats inside, so she gave me to a very nice neighbor lady. However, I kept escaping and going back tomom's porch. Mom took me in, and there I have been for over 2 years now. Oh, the neighbor lady later adopted two stray kittens.
3. I am generally a very laid back kitty and I get along well with all my sibs...except for that meanie Chap.
4. I love to watch the birds through the windows(what cat doesn't).
5. My best friend is Charlie Barleycorn.
6. I like to play with the laser light.
7. My favorite sleeping place is anywhere mom is.
