Arrival Story:
My feral cat mom gave birth to me and my siblings in a bush. The peoples that live inside the house where the bush was were very worried about my mom and us kitties. One of the ladies took my mom and siblings to a shelter. She thought they would have a good chance of being adopted. She missed me though, I was hiding real good. A day later, I started crying because I was real hungry and scared. The ladies in the house found me, took me in, fed me with a doll's baby bottle and helped me grow up. My moms say I was very tiny and very fiesty. They say I'm still tiny and fiesty. I'm 16 years old now. I'm sure glad they found me and took me in!

Bio:
My moms took me to the vet, he believes that my fur mom didn't get good food and was malnutritioned (whatever that is!), and passed that along to her babies (me!). My hips have always been real sore because of that. I have lost my hearing. I don't mind most of the time, but sometimes I get scared when I don't see people coming up to me. My moms use sign language to get my attention to "talk" to me. Don't tell them, but sometimes they look like real dorks. MOL I have never lost my wild (feral) side. I can definately be cranky. I dont know why, it's just my way. I love to play "jungle kitty" in the grass when it gets long. And now that I can't hear, when I meow, my moms say I'm real loud. Hey, I just want to be sure to be heard! Our little fireball passed over the bridge, she was 18 years old, and well loved.

The Diary of a Jungle Kitty

I've been tagged!

My fur friend Chadwick has tagged me! How very cool is that?!

Here are the rules:

Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write in their own diary about the seven random facts and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary.

My pawsome facts:

1. I am a feral kitty at heart. I love to roam around. I do not like to be confined, which also means I don't care to be held too much. I love to lay on my humans, but not to be held.

2. I love to sleep on my mom's car. It's a great place to sun.

3. I just had my 17th birthday. Yup, I'm an old lady MOL

4. One of the places I like to sleep is the downstairs linen closet. I've scared mom a few times when she didn't know I was there

5. I get on the roof sometimes, and can't figure out how to get down.

6. I love to roll in dirt. It's soooo fun!

7. I'm an ankle rubber. I lean, rub, and twirl around my moms legs. They call it getting furred up, because I always leave fur on their pants.
