Arrival Story:
Twinkie showed up outside meowing/catterwalling below a window. My son and I went outside to see him. Since he was such a sweetheart, we brought him inside. A week later, a neighbor asked if we had their cat (oops), but then said we could keep him since he had a more comfortable and safe life indoors. Yay! Since then, we have had him neutered, which did away with the nightly catterwalling. He is always purring; just a cheerful guy. He follows me everywhere in the house. He gets along great with the other cats & dogs, and loves his family!

Bio:
The vet told us last fall that Twink was about 4 1/2 years old, so his birthdate is just an approximation based on that. -- His favorite play partner is Pumpkin the Cat who is only slightly older than he. 2-2-09: Twinkie is now blind in his right eye as a result of glaucoma, caused by tumors growing in his right ear canal. He has been on a diet for a little over one month, also, so he has lost a little weight. He's still as lovey-dovey as ever and gets along fine with vision in only one eye (even though his eye and ear hurts him at times).
