mac is a "watch cat'....keeps an eye on the neigborhood
mac was given to me as a x-mas present from my ex-husband. he became very sick..wouldn't eat or drink and we were thinking that he might have to be put to sleep....that morning he started eating and drinking...(and hasn't stopped)....
last year he lost his very best friend, tailless to crf and was extremely depressed...on jan.2,2006, he and i adopted two little ones...and although he misses tay...he's bonded with marmie and cav....mac has a kind soul...very loving and sweet
This morning, 1024.08, Macallan's life came to a tragic end. I had the sliding glass door open, not even 5inches with the screen door closed and was awakened to a commotion. I turned on the light and saw a hole in the screen and jumped out of bed checking on my furbabies....Macallan was no where to be found. I went outside and could hear the coyotes but no Mac. When the sun came up and my girlfriend came over we went looking for him...but only found some of his beautiful orange fur. He is now at the Rainbow Bridge, joining his best furriend and brofur Tailless. There is a huge hole in my heart...I love you Mac!
look out for the mac attack

3 years ago today, while Meowmie, Marmie,Cavie, Shadie and Cocoa Jo were still living in beautiful Borrego Springs, two beautiful orangies were born. I knew Meowmie was missing me and when she moved back to Ohio I nudged her and Poppa to PetSmart where 'Baby and Peep' were. Of course, she fell in love immediately (I sprinkled special angel dust on her) and....the rest was history!
The 'littles', as Poppa calls them, have blossomed into beautiful girls. Bringing so much happiness and joy and of course...double orangeness!!
Today I'm smiling as they celebrate being 3! I miss my Meowmie..but know one day we'll meet....I'm busy here at the Bridge greeting new arrivals, showing them Earth's Window and keeping watch over my special furriend Hooch!
Until we meet...love to all of you and especially to my Meowmie and Poppa!

My dearest Macallan,
I woke up this morning...earlier than my 5am...couldn't fall back asleep...but laid in bed....thinking of you my sweet and gentle boy. Can it really be 2 years...730 days since that awful morning when you were taken from our home? There hasn't been a day that's gone by that I haven't thought of you...wondering how you would like being in Ohio again...wondering how tolerate you would be with Marmie, Cavie, Cocoa Jo, Shadie, Tangerine and Mango. You taught Shadie well...he is know the one nurturing and grooming the others and Tangerine follows him around...she's in complet awe of her older brother...there have been so many times that when I see them curled up together I have to stop and make sure it's not you and Shadie.....
I still don't understand why this happened...but I do know that you are my hero...always!!
I miss you Mackie!! And I will love you always!

I'm so happy that Meowmie had something to do this past weekend. She went to her 40th high school reunion where she got to see a lot of her classmates from waaay before I was born!! On her drive over, she noticed she had forgotten to put on the beautiful silver necklace that has my name on the back that her dear cat friends sent her after I was killed. She only takes it off when she showers. Well, she knew she couldn't be without it..so she turned the car around, came back...and then..started her drive back to New Philadelphia, Ohio. While her classmates had photos of their hooman children and grandchildern, Meowmie showed off photos of me and my furblings and told the story of what happened to me while I was protecting the house and my furblings.
On my birthday, Sunday, October 3rd, meowmie work up and saw all the beautiful messages and rosettes that were pouring in....She was so happy to see them....and so sad, remembering I'm not physically here to celebrate.
I want to thank everypurr for the well wishes....I was completely overwhelmed.
Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my orangie heart!
Purrs of furriendship and love,
