Arrival Story:
I was 3 months old and nearly dead when Mistress came knocking on the door of my *breeder* (and I use that term loosely). She took one look @ my 1-1/2 lb body and the cause of my near starvation (my baby teeth didn't come in right and were hooked and growing back up into the roof of my mouth ~ making it impossible for me to eat). She wisked me up...shoved the full asking price for me in the *breeders* hands and ran out with me. Heck ~ my breeder was soooo stoopid...she thought I was a BOY! Anymew...she took me straight to the vet...I was put on a liquid diet immediately & went in for weigh~ins twice a week. My baby teeth eventually came out and my adult teeth came in straight (miracle of all miracles!) And I was able to finally be weened off of the liquid diet & onto a solid diet. After a couple of years...I grew into a beautiful kitty if I do say so myself. One time while at the groomers...a lady that shows cats was having her cat groomed as well...and saw me. She talked Mistress into showing me...Mistress was skepital at first but thought...what the hey. In my first show ~ I gained the title Premiere. I only showed two more times...and happened...I got nose freckles (common in my coloration...but no longer acceptable for show). I never did Grand...but it didn't matter...Mistress loved me & was proud of me all the same.

Mistress here: Scutterbotch has been a fighter from day one...I have learned so much about life from her. She is intelligent, funny, mischievous, laid~back...and has soooo much character. I have had Hailey, Chloe, & PeekBoo on Dogster/Catster since last year & never added Scutterbotch because I don't have a scanner...therefore no pictures of her to post from her prime. Scutterbotch is now 16 and has been battling with digestive problems for over 3 years...tomorrow, I will see her off as she crosses over to Rainbow Bridge. I took pictures of her on our last special day together...doing what she enjoys most...being outdoors in the garden. And as I downloaded the pictures onto my computer...I couldn't help but notice...that she is just as beautiful to me now with her weak body, dull coat, and toothless grin as she ever was to me. So here I am...introducing to you the one of the most beautiful creatures that I have ever crossed paths with...I will miss you more than you will ever know Kiki...and I will love you will live forever in the hearts of Hailey, Chloe, PeekBoo, Rue, Grammy, Grampy...but most of all me. It's been one heck of a ride...and I'm glad I got to share it with you. We Love You, Your family

We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
We think of you in silence. We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

All Our Love,
Hailey, Chloe, PeekBoo, & Mistress

Look not where I was
For I am not there
My spirit is free
I am everywhere

In the air that you breathe
In the sounds that you hear
Don't cry for me Mom
My spirit is near

I'll watch for you
From the other side
I'll be the one running
New friends by my side

Smile at my memory
Remember in your heart
This isn't the end
It's a brand new start
