My onwer was tricked into it. My former roommate's owner (my roommate was a stupid dog named Gizmo) had a friend who had a cat who just had a bunch of kittens and they needed to be distributed to people. My roommate's owner said she couldn't have one because she already had a dog (my stupid friend Gizmo) but she said my owner could have one and she knew I'd be wanted. My owner didn't know if it was possible at the time to deal with me (I was a baby muffin,) but Gizmo's owner told her friend to bring a kitten (me) over just so they could see and of course I was totally adorable and they all thought I was just great because I immediately fell asleep on the couch. I ended up being crazy energetic and super loud, but that's okay. I'm still a cutie and everybody loves me and I love everybody!
