February 20, 2010 I have been gone for 3 years. The family didn't commemorate the day with any kind of solemn event. Humph.
They still think of me though, daily, in fact!
I was that kind of a cat.
Unforgettable.

I was really good at hiding toys. Little soft mousie toys. Little pom pom toys. The peeps would look and look for my toys. I would hide them during the night and I was good at hiding them.
The dad recently put new flooring in the kitchen area. He pulled of the old baseboard stuff.
He found my stash. Under one of the cabinets he kept pulling out very fuzzy toys. Five toys to be exact. I had stuffed them in there for safe keeping.
I can't believe they didn't even keep the fuzzy toys.
They might have cleaned up good.

I guess it's about time the family gave up on me making it back home. I have been missing for nearly a year and a half. Nope, I think I am gone for good.
I know the family misses me. They talk about me a lot. They laugh and smile when they talk about me. They have good memories of me.
Life is rough out there. Too many bad things can happen to us cats when we go outside. If you can stand it, I recommend you stay inside. Get your family to supply you with lots of little kitty cat toys and keep yourself busy. Try not to be nocturnal. You will get along better with your family.
Thanks, purr pals. I am going to sign off now.

Hey everyone! I've been tagged by my pal Amber Jewel.
The rules:
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them an paw-mail telling them that they have been tagged and to read your diary.
Here's my 7 fabulous facts!
1. I've been shot two times and survived!
2. I have a mysterious ability to make cat toys disappear, never to be seen again.
3. I was born in a barn.
4. My name comes from the fact that I like to race around the house, "revvin' my engine", and because of the noise I make. "Rrrrttt!"
5. When the cats get special food in the mornings, I like to go around trying to eat everyone else's.
6. Last year, I brought a flea circus home with me!
7. My family was thrilled with the flea circus.
Here the 7 cats I'm tagging!

Hi Everycat, Just wanted to check in. I have been away from home for nearly 6 weeks. I don't think I will come home this time. I've been gone before, I've been shot before (twice). But this is the longest I've been gone.
The family has checked around. We live out in the sticks, what few neighbors we have don't live very close. They haven't seen me. I could be hanging out in some barn or stable. Or I could be lost down in the river bottom. Or maybe, something worse has happened. I may not be able to come back.
I see the family has Replaced me. Impossible! They got 2 new cats to Try to take my place! Ha!
I'll probably check in from time to time on my diary. I am a talkative guy.

Cool! I'm a Diary Pick of the Day! Thanks for choosing my lil ol' diary, Catster!
I'm still missing, my family hasn't seen me at all. I'm not too worried about myself, though. It was snowy a few days ago, and I probably holed up somewhere, or found somebody else's house to stay at. Maybe I'm living somewhere where I get lots of dried banana chips. I like dried banana chips.
Thanks to everyone who's helped me look for myself, and thanks Gimme for the Rosette!

Hey everyone. I have grave news. I'm missing! I didn't come in for breakfast yesterday, and I'm not back today either! I've been gone for longer periods of time than this, so I'm not too worried. I just hope I find myself soon and go back home.
I don't hear the Humans when they call me. They keep glancing outside and out the back door to see if I'm there. I don't know where I am! Keep an eye out for me, wherever you are! I can't tell you how I'm writing this entry while I'm missing, I'd have to kill you.
I'll keep you updated!
Rev.

Hi everybody! The nights this time of year are pretty cold, so I like to stay inside. That's when I came up with this fun little game I play with the Humans. I start before they go to bed. I just hang out looking real angelic so that they won't put me outside. They go to bed. I find out that looking angelic gets boring after a few hours, so I get up and stretch. In other words, I go to the Parent's bedroom and scratch on the doorframe and make other noises. They usually wake up say "Rev!" in sleepy voices. They also tell me that it's "2:00 a.m." or something. But hey, I have no concept of time!
Anyway, the Parents get up and the game begins! I don't even have to run, I just trot away from them as they chase me all around the house. It's so much fun! Sometimes they try to set up ambushes for me to catch me. One parent might be chasing me, and another is waiting around the corner to catch me,
for example. Well, sometimes they win the game and catch me. Then they put me outside. They just open the door and throw me forcefully out into sub-zero temperatures! I tumble down the steps and they slam the door behind me! I heard evil-sounding laughter from inside once.
Well, maybe I exaggerated those last three sentences. It hasn't been sub-zero lately, and I always end up on the top of the steps. I haven't heard laughter either.
I guess the Humans just can't see my halo.
Rev signing off!

Last weekend the humans went camping, leaving us cats alone in the house! Now, me and Lewis usually go outside at night and come in in the morning, but our schedule was mixed up. There was a guy coming to give us food and water and stuff, but he didn't come when me and Lewis wanted outside. So we stayed inside most of the time!
One day, I was getting kinda bored, so I went and found Tod. He was sleeping on the bed. "Hey Toddy, wanna play with me?"
He yawned. "No, I want to sleep."
"Oh, come on. I'm bored, I wanna play! Come on come on!" Tod just yawned again and rolled over.
"Toddy, I hate to have to do this but-" I pounced on him. That woke him up! Soon we were running around the house, up and down the stairs, on the furniture, all over. We stopped a few times to wrestle, leaving plenty of cat hair spread around. Lewis got in on the act too. All of us cats except fussbudget Amber were playing. Now we wanted to make sure Amber didn't get left out, so us guys ran into the bedroom where she was and chased her around for a bit. Then she said, "I don't want to play, you dufuses!", got on the kitchen table, and fussed at us.
We weren't going to let her stop our fun, though. We kept running around, wrestling, chasing each other. Then, before we realized what had happened, we had jumped onto the kitchen counter (where we're not allowed) and a shelf with plants on it had mysteriously fallen into the sink!
The crash as it fell startled us and we stopped playing. We stared at the carnage. "Oops." I said.
"I don't think that was good for the plants." Lewis said.
"I'm going back to sleep." Tod said.
I think Amber was snickering at us from the table.

This is cool, my diary is one of the daily featured diaries! Who would've thought that my ramblings would merit a spot on 'Today's Picks'?
Cindy, the new dog is sorta creeping me out. If she sees any of us cats, she'll stare at us. That's all, just stare at us. It's strange. I've tried to start a conversation with her, but she doesn't say anything. She's not too bad, though, even with all the staring. At least she doesn't bark at me.
Spring is here in full force. It's nice and sunny in the day, and cool at night. During the day I like to sit in the windows and look out, or sleep in the sun. At night, these huge bugs come out and fly or crawl around. I love the catch them and eat them!
And there's a peek into the life of Rev!
