Well, I had a bit of adventure a couple of days ago. In the field next to our house, there's a big stack of straw bales -- about 5 or 6 high. It had been sitting there for months, but somebody finally came to move the straw. He took away about half the stack, and left the rest for another day.
Now, I like to hunt in that field. There are a lot of mousies living in the straw. After the guy moved the bales, my family got worried 'cause they couldn't find me. They thought I might have gotten scared away, or even climbed in the truck through an open window and taken a ride away from home. I didn't come in when 'Dopted Mommy wanted to tuck us in for the evening. I don't know why they were so worried. I was just hunting!
Anyway, a little later, I decided to climb that big stack of straw. I climbed up to the very top, but then I couldn't get down! The sides were pretty steep, and the shortest distance I could jump was two bales high. These were big bales, too. It started getting dark, and I thought I might have to spend the whole night up there. 'Dopted Mommy came outside to look for me again, though, and saw me silhouetted against the sunset. She ran over and I meowed to tell her I couldn't get down. But she couldn't figure out how to get me down, either, so she went to get 'Dopted Daddy and other 'Dopted Mommy.
After she left, I went ahead and jumped down. It was a little scary, but I made it to the ground just fine. My family was very relieved to see that I was okay.
It was kinda fun to be way up high -- I could see my house and everything! The next day the man came back and took away the rest of the straw, so I can't climb up there again.

I caught it fair and square. Over across the road. I know, I know, I am not supposed to cross the road. It is Sunday morning. Very quiet. No traffic.
I caught my gopher over there. I carried it back to our driveway to enjoy my gopher.
Puffy (Inkspot) took my gopher! He grabbed it and took it into the garage.
Catch you own gopher Puffy!

Happy birthday to me and my sister and brother.
We happily live in the garage. We hunt, play and nap most of the day away. I like to supervise everything when the people come out to do anything outside. I am always right there. Today maybe someone will bring us something special to eat!

Well hello everycat! As I promised, here's an overview of my usual day at my home.
It starts out when someone, usually the human dad, opens the door of the garage where we sleep. We have a nice big box and plenty of covers there to snuggle in. And our box is right by the window so we get some nice sun for napping. We slowly get up, then check around the property. Later, the human mom or boy will come out to tend to the turkeys, guineas, and chickens. Sometimes, I'll go out and supervise, just to make sure that they are doing okay. Well, that, and I usually get petted too.
After this, the humans go back inside, and I just begin my normal routine. I wander the property, just checking to make sure that everything is okay. Then, I'll settle down back in the garage, or maybe in the barn if I can find a good patch of sun. I'll take a nap, then go and check around again! My sister Pearl and I are very good at walking on the vehicles in the garage. We leave our pawprints on the cars.
At night, the human girl will come out and give us some yummy eggs to eat, and we'll all go into the garage, where we'll be safe for the night.
Normally, my day just follows that routine, but sometimes, usually weekends, I'll get to help the humans with outdoor work! Usually, I sit nearby and supervise, meowing every now and then to provide directions. Sometimes, one of the humans will start to pet me! This feels really great, and I love it! I like to be picked up and cuddled but not for long. Unfortunately, they eventually have to stop and go inside, and I'll follow them as far as I can! I would go inside the house if I could, but the dogs would try to chase me.
That's okay though, I'm happy with things as they are.
Well, that's pretty much my day! Thanks for reading!

They tell me it is an honor to be picked as Catster Cat of the Day! Let me tell you, it is a complete surprise! I am an outside cat and never come inside to dictate any diary entries.
I think I will tell you about my usual day but first I have to make the morning rounds. I am a supervisor cat.
Meow you later Kitties!
