So I just got back from the vet.
That rood dood took my temperature. But I was a good soldier and didn't put up a fuss. Since 'dopted Mommy just noticed me limping last night, my temperature wasn't too high. The vet told us I came in before it got too bad.
Then the guy listened to my healthy heart. I keep in shape.
Then he shaved some of the fur offa my back foot so he could see the bad place. I even held pretty still for that. I got a little restless while the peeps discussed what they could and should do for me to get my foot better.
I got a shot of Auntie Bi O'tic and some pain killer. With the shot now I don't have to take any medicine at home. The 'dopted Mommys are supposed to keep my foot clean by washing or wiping it. I don't wanna wear no stinking baby sock or bandages. 'Dopted Mommy knows that would be a waste of time and energy trying to put something on my foot while it heals.
So I am home and I'm gonna hang out in the garage. I had a bite to eat and I will probably take a good nap now.
I will be good to go in a few days. I hope my sisters can keep up with the critter hunting without me.
Sowwy yu beed injureded, Inkspot!! My Momma r 'mazeded dat yu 'llowded yur bet tu du all dat stuff tu yu an' yu wuz a bery gud boy!! Momma's kitty Toby made hims bet bleed a coupla timeses an' den dem buyded a speshul peece of 'quipment fur da office fur bery upset kitties, but Toby wuz da onwy kitty whu needed it!! He 'barasseded Momma cuz him HATED da bet an' habded NO twubble wettin' dem kno' it!! BOLBOL!! Oooops...MOLMOL!! yeah, I think 'dopted Mommy was kinda shocked at my good behavior. I have only been away from the place once, when I got the neuter job.
I am a pretty easy going guy. But watch out if you are a critter. Hope you are feeling better soon Inkspot! You need to be back out there killing rodents!
