Baghira has figured out how to open doors! If the doorknob works well he can't turn it but he has opened various doors, and even escaped at the vet! and of course, Having a sweet, loving personality.

indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
Baghira was a stray in the neighborhood. We found him one day at our door, cold and hungry, so we fed him, and of course, he kept coming back (never feed a stray if you don't want it). He was a fun companion out in the neighborhood until one day he snuck into our house and just made himself at home. We fell in love with Baghira so quickly. We put up signs for him and checked at local shelters; after no one claimed him we decided to keep him. Now he is extremely happy living with us in our warm home with plenty of food!

Baghira is by far the most loving, and the sweetest cat I have ever known. I will always remember the sweet things he does, cute noises he makes, and the funny ways he does things. When Baghira is happy, or excited to see me, of course he makes biscuits...only sort of obsessively, and he sucks on my clothes...kind of odd but very cute and kittenlike. He loves his mommy! At night Baghira can never decide if he wants to go in or out. In the daytime he rules over our yard like a little king. He loves being outside and chasing things around the grass. I love how sweet Baghira is around people and even other animals. Whenever we have people over we make sure Baghira is inside so he can entertain! He loves to meet new people! He is also amazing with other animals. I have never seen a cat get along with other cats as well as Baggy. I can only feel sorry for the people who owned him last. They really are missing out, and it is too bad they never claimed him.

Moving On

I haven't written in my Catster diary in quite a few years. I thought I should write to tell all of my friends that I am no longer with my Meowmy. After Meowmy went to college we moved around a lot, and she became very busy. Over the summer I got rather fed up with it. She was never able to be home to spend time with me and I spent most of my days by myself sleeping. I wasn't happy at all. Even though I loved my Meowmy, it didn't really matter because I never saw her or was able to spend any time with her. I expressed this to her whenever she came home. Usually by being bad and chewing on her things to express my frustration and to get her attention. I would also keep her up at night because that was my only real time with her.

I did get fed up with it after a while though, and last summer I went outside and never came back. I really miss my Meowmy, but I hope she knows I am happy somewhere else now. I wish I could have said goodbye, but it was just time to go. I am a very independent and roaming cat. This is how I came to my Meowmy, and this is the same way I will go to my next owner.

I just thought it was time to say goodbye. I am somewhere else far away roaming in the fields and being the happy little cat I always was! I will remember all of you! Especially Meowmy. It is hard to forget all the good times we had and all the biscuits I made for her. We had a very special bond that I doubt I will ever regain with another human ever again. But I feel I made the right decision. I am happy again.

Meows and Purrs,

My Not so interesting Day

Mommy was gone most of the day, so i thought I would just entertain myself a little on the stairs, and outside. Once it wasn't so hot I stayed out. Mommy says its dangerous for me to be outside when it's so hot, I could get sick. I played in the grass for a little bit and checked out mommy's new car! I hope she doesn't make me get in it.... I came in when it got dark because these weird humans were setting off these pretty colorful sparkly things in the sky! They were so pretty, but loud and scary. Mommy brought me in, and I heard that they are called fireworks. Mommy said it is weird they are there cuz it's not even the 4th of July! I don't really know what that is, all I know is i've never seen one of these sparkly things before.
Mommy started doing this weird thing when I got inside. I'm not sure if I like it or not...but she took out this wooden thing and started making lots of noise! She calls it a violin. Well, I couldn't decide if I liked her playing or not! So I decided to get attention while she was staring at this piece of paper... I started rubbing all over her and talking really loudly. When she didn't stop, I climbed up on the dresser and knocked her music over! HAHAHAHAAH SHE STOPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well....not for long, meowmy just kicked me out of the room, and kept it up. I continued to scratch on the door and meow but it did no good. So that was the end of my day, I'm sleepy now and can't keep my eyes open, and I'm waiting for mommy so we can go to bed.

** I will make biscuits for all of you! Good night!**
Much love,
"floofa nooner"

My New Home

Meow! =^..^= This is my first diary entry, I guess I'll tell a little about myself. My name is Baghira. I came to my meowmy about a year ago after living on the streets. I loved living there so much! I just slept on my favorite couch all day long. That couch was MINE. I could eat all I wanted, and I got tons of attention. The only problem was the other stray named Tabby. I'm glad to be away from Tabby because he was mean to me a lot... he hurt me and bullied me everytime he saw me :'( Thankfully, my mommy and I moved away from that mean old cat. I'm living in a new home now, with 5 other kitties. It took a while to get used to the other animals, but I don't mind them much, as long as they don't bully me. It's been 3 months and I've been getting along extremely well, except one cat named Cricket. She looks exactly like me! I don't know why she doesn't like me... I think she's kinda cute... 0:) Anyway, she is sorta mean to me sometimes, and chases me to my room. I hope she stops soon.
This move was a little hard for me even though I didn't move far. I was so scared when I came here, I didn't go to the bathroom for a week! Even though I had my own room and potty and everything... I was just so devastated being taken away from the home I loved and chose to live in. But I love meowmy, I'll go wherever she goes.
I've been a little distant in this new home. I never seem to know what I want, or where I want to go. I don't cuddle as much as I used to, but I still look forward to visiting with meowmy each night before bed like we always do. She brushes me and we play with "fluff ball." Then I fall asleep next to her.
I hope things continue to go well here, maybe I'll get some new toys....or my own rug to play with I LOVE RUGSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will tell you about some of my adventures later.

Meows and purrrs,
