I am in kitty love

Dear Diary,

I am in kitty love with this beautiful kitty Ollie. Her page can be seen here: http://www.catster.com/pet_page.php?i=304869&j=t
Me and her have alot in common. We like and do all the same things. She only likes to be picked up sometimes, like me! And, she feels the same way I do about Mommy interupting us while playing, some nerve they have! Oh and, I am only 2 months older than her, I guess she likes older men :) Good news for me. See it first started with a crush, but it has purrrrgressed into love. She even told me she was going to dream about me while she is taking a catnap. Don't worry, I'm going to do the same. She is so pretty. We look alike too. I'm in love with Ollie, head over paws in love. I'm going to go knead the blanky because I am so excited! Then it is off to catnapping where, of course, I'll be having kitty dreams of my Ollie.

A NEW Nap spot!

Ok, so I usually nap above Momma and Dadda's entertainment system, or at least in there bed ya know?! Well, I have now found my newest and most favorite nap spot in the whole place...the towel closet! DUH! Why didn't I think of this beofre?!?! All I have to do is jump up, get in, and Reeeelax! Mommy saw me in there and yelled to daddy"You have got to see this!" What?! I'm ust nappin for gosh sakes!! I guess they thought it was funny! But, anywhooo these towels are amazing...so soft! I'm just upset I didn't think of it earlier! For once, I have an idea Christian didn't come up with first. Plus, he's too chubby to jump that high (only kidding Christian if you read this, I love you!) I'm just purrring with excitement about my new nap spot! It is so comfy! If you have a towel closet, I highly recommend napping in it!

My Kitty Horoscope/Sun Sign; Gemini (May 22-June 21)

Mommy found an article titled "Understanding Your Best Friend Through Sun Signs" and it tells and describes all of the different Sun Signs that we kitty's have, the same idea as Human signs and horoscopes. It starts of explaining that "By using the twelve sun signs, we can predict with 80% accuracy the many sides of someone's personality. Why not with our best friend? The sun is the most powerful of all the astral bodies. It colors the personality so strongly that it is amazing how accurate you can predict your cat's behavior. It stamps your cat with a personality distinctly their own. Knowing their sun sign and understanding those characteristics will give you an insight in to why they do certain things. Understanding always produces a better relationship with your kitty cat!"

Jan. 20-Feb.18: Aquarius
Feb.20-March 20: Pisces
March 21-April 19: Aries
April 20-May 20: Taurus *If Mommy was a Kitty, this would be her Sun Sign!*
May 22-Jun. 21: Gemini *THIS IS MY SUN SIGN!*
June 22-July 23: Cancer *THIS IS MY BROTHER CHRISTIAN'S SUN SIGN!*

Aug. 23-Sept. 22: Virgo *This would be Daddy's Sun Sign, if he was a kitty of course!*

For each Sun Sign, there is a different kitty personality and a different birthstone. Since I was Born on June 16, my sun sign is Gemini. My Birthstone, (along w/ other Gemini kittie's), the ancient birthstone gem of cats under Gemini, is the AGATE .
About my Birthstone, The AGATE - "Agate was highly valued as a talisman or amulet in ancient times. It was said to quench thirst and protect from fevers. Persian magicians used Agate to divert storms. This is why the Agate is considered so powerful as it gives us the strength to carry on."

Here is my Sun Sign (Gemini) Report:
"You will have your hands full with this kitten." HeHe "They are a whirling dervish that will keep you on your toes." I'm NOT THAT BAD, right Mommy?
"Their dual personality makes it hard for them to be sure what they want to do and when they want to do it." Yea, I guess I'm a little confused as to what and when I want to do stuff. Maybe thats why I'm always MEOWING, I'm looking for answers Mom! "They are very impatient and look for action - if nothing is happening they will just dash around the house like little tornadoes." Oh...That IS me!!!

"Their minds and bodies are agile and lively. They will go in three directions at once, with this kitten around don't ever be surprised when they will appear." Wow! Right on the mney! "In fact they will go from the curtains to your plate like the flying Walendas." I am a gentle and sweet boy though! Really...

"They do not like routines or confinement. They must live unrestricted and carefree lives, if you try to change them you will destroy their bubbling personality." Listen up Momma! "Try to learn their ways and you will enjoy a life of fun and games with this sparkling little imp. Keep a basket for lots of toys - they will snoop through it till they find the one they want and play with if for awhile and go back for another. Eventually all the toys will be everywhere - in the house and yard." Absolutely right! I love my toys! And I make it a point to play with ALL of them in an hour's time!Mommy is always picking them up!

"They are not big eaters." I know it, I'm really not. I don't even like people food. I do get excited for my wet food in the morning though, I even wake mommy and daddy up because I am so anxious. But, I never end up finishing it, Christian does...of course! "Make sure they get plenty of rest - they have a tendency to keep going." Oh, that is not a problem. My mommy keeps my life rather low-key. I have a heart murmur, so the vet told her no excessive activity. "They do not tend to wander from home or prowl at night. Do not show a bad temper or tend to fight." NO WAY! I NEVER want to leave home...ever! My brother Christian coersed me into sneaking out one night (and we are strictly indoor cats) and I was so scared! I crouched on top of a basement floor air conditioner and in between the 1st floor apartment balconcy. As soon as I saw daddy, I MEOWED for dear life. I was so glad to be home. I never want to go outdoors ever again. And as for fighting, no fighting for me. I even avoid my cousin Louie, he is a chihuahua. I'm a lover...not a fighter.

"Their love and affection for you will be quick but touching - they will stop in mid play to run to you and give you a rub or little kiss, then off again to the challenges of the world." Right on! I go love affection, when I want it. But it is usually not for very long. Mommy and Daddy know I love them though! I let them pick me up without biting or scratching. I do tap them to get up in the morning too. But once they are up, my job is done! "They are very emotional with language of purrs and meows. They are the most talkative of the cats." YES! YES! and more YES! I love to Meow Meow Meow, often for NO reason! They are loud too! I purrrr too, alot! Especially when I knead mommy and daddy's comforter. That is how they know I am comfortable. "They will seem to enjoy carrying on a conversation with you." I love being answered back! If not, I get louder!

"They are very prissy about their appearance and groom themselves continuously." :-) "They are also very fussy about the things around them being clean. Their litter box must always be fresh and clean - their bed and bedding soft and clean. In fact, they prefer the whole house to be tidy." I love things clean! Good thing my daddy is a neat freak. He is in charge of litter box duty too. Everyday, I get a nice clean litterbox. If not, I might just go on the floor (only kidding Mom!)

"Sudden loud noises will startle them sending them into a frenzy of dashing about looking for what happened to disturb them." Well, I am a scaredy-cat! "Because of their impulsiveness they will accidentally end up with cuts and bruises - so keep a sharp eye on them." Mommy, maybe that could explain my limping! Remember? Even the vet didn't have the slightest idea! "The term that best suits this kitten is pixilated - you will never get bored." Not with me they won't! I keep mommy and daddy entertained! Even though I am sweet and gentle, I am always doing funny things to suprise them!

Hi Fellow Feline Friends! My name is Movado! I was adopted by my mommy and daddy in October 2005. I was only 4 months old. I was a gift to an elderly woman who didn't want me. She couldn't handle my kitten attitude :) Thank Gosh! I ended up with the BEST mommy and daddy in the whole world. They love me and I love them. Now, my brother Christian on the other hand, he's bossy. He eats all the time! and he always hogs mommy! He even makes me do things I don't want to (like escape!) I WILL NEVER do that again! When daddy found me I was crouched in between the top of an air conditioner and the roof to the basement floor apartment. I was THAT scared! Ok, so I'm a bit of a baby, what do you want from me?! At least I'll never do that again! I love my brother, but we are very different. It's ok! We still have fun. I use to be shy...but I am much more outgoing now. Ladies, feel free to befriend me!
