Arrival Story:
Lil's previous owner recently died, and her ex-husband was going to get Lil' put down. My sister-in-law wouldn't have a bar of that and was going to look after Lil herself, despite the fact that she already has a menagerie of pets. But she knew I was after an adult cat to look after, so Lil' no w lives with me.

Bio:
On 28 January 2009 my boyfriend accidently ran over Lil. She was sitting directly behind his car wheel and didn't even try to move when he started his engine. Her pelvis was broken and the vet told me she probably wouldn't make it through an operation and even if she did, a full recovery was unlikely. I had always said that when the cancer on her nose starts to bother her, I would let her go. She was so calm with a broken pelvis that I was quite alarmed and wondered if the cancer was really bothering her and she just wasn't showing it, seeing as she only seemed mildly annoyed by a broken pelvis. I decided it was best to let her go to a place where she could be a kitten and run again. Lil has lost parts of her ears to cancer. Her nose is grubby in these photos because the carrier she arrived in was pretty dusty. She's hard to photograph because she's always coming towards you for a smooch. Recently Bella came to live with us and Lil was not impressed. She often hisses and growls at Bella, but Bella is very submissive and tries to avoid her and doesn't fight. We've come to the conclusion that Lil's eyesight and hearing are possibly not the best and she is just startled by Bella. Sometimes they sleep very near to each other, but as soon as Bella makes noise or moves Lil will get cranky.
