Skinny Minnie

I am losing weight! My human has me on some diet cat food and she feeds me separately from the gray cat so I don't get all her food and get fat again. I am so much lighter and now I have more energy and run all over the place! At first I was not happy about this new food, but I know it's because my human loves me and wants me to be healthy. It's nice to have more energy too. Now I can chase around the gray cat for much longer!!

It's Our Anniversary...

It has been two years since I left the shelter and came home with this crazy human. It hasn't always been easy. I had to spend six long months being terrorized by Lucy (I defended myself by permanently altering her right ear). I am so glad that I have a home for good!

Stop the Insanity!

I am, how shall I put this, rather portly. I came into this home a measly 4 pounds, and am now looking at a solid 12! I have a fat pouch in my belly that swings when I walk. It is unsightly! And I get lots of exercise, too. I just can't understand it. I mean, I play with those feather toys like it's goin' out of style, I chase the mean gray cat all over the apartment, I push around that yellow ball in the blue ring...I am pretty active. True, I do enjoy delicacies such as tuna flavored Pounce, and once pawed open a container and ate half of its contents before passing out in a treat-induced fog. I need a kitty exercise plan.

Under the covers

Do any other cats love sleeping under their person's covers? I love it! I hide from the world all day under the comforter, and get hair all over the bed. It's the best. It's so warm and comfy under there. When she leaves in the morning, my person pats the bump on the bed that is me, and says goodbye. The worst is when my person (who is normally totally lazy) makes the bed. Then, I have to work to get under the covers! Usually, I butt my head and paw my way in there, ruining all her hard work making the bed. It's worth it, though!

My hairbrush, my enemy

I hate being brushed! Nothing is worse! Why can't I shed in peace? Every time I get brushed, I make sure to wiggle and meow and be as disruptive and uncooperative as possible. And I swear that gray cat is mocking me. I like all my beautiful white fur! My human should be THANKFUL that it covers everything in her home! At least after brushing me, her allergies act up and she has to go outside and rub all the hair off her clothes. It is but a small comfort, though. Must I live in fear of the hairbrush?

Nighttime annoyances

I am writing today out of frustration. As soon as my person turns her light out, I figure it's time to cuddle. I immediately hop onto the bed and begin head-butting and then finally settle in so that I am blocking her face. Well, she always picks me up and moves me! No matter how persistent I am, she does not let me cuddle when she's trying to sleep! Who does she think she is, anyway?
